i don’t think you’re obligated to like heated rivalry, but i do roll my eyes at everyone in the qrts calling it soft porn. the beginning of shane and ilya’s relationship is meant to be “casual hook ups” and sex is the only way they communicate, so it’s pivotal to the story.
