The state offered $5 million, they wanted $15 million, and the deal collapsed. They’re sending it back to Joliet.
An event that generated over $100 million in economic impact just walked over a $10 million gap.

Maple Grove Raceway opened in 1962. It was shuttered today, victim of the IHRA meltdown.
Racer magazine started 34 years ago and became a great resource. A staffer posts it is ceasing operations.
