This year, be yourself. Follow your gut & heart. No need to copy big names or suck up to them for the attention. Don’t chase empty numbers. Authenticity & true intention are the main tools you need. Step into yourself & let the world see the greatness you are. You got this!

You say men, but then you say girls instead of women. You say guys, but then you say females like they’re another species. Try saying women when you mean women. Language matters. Identity matters. How you choose to describe someone can say more about you than it does them.

The thing about WAGMI is that people expected it to happen overnight. Disappointment was sure to follow. The truth is, just like with most things, you can make it if you stick with it. It also helps to have a plan and not just expect success to land on your lap.

Men only promoting men isn’t just a childish marketing strategy, it’s choosing blindness and ignorance over a beautifully diverse and talented community. Stop the virtual chest-bumping and check out some incredible work from underrepresented communities. You might be surprised!

You belong in web3. No matter your age. No matter your skills. No matter your identity. No matter your network. No matter your net worth. No matter your education. No matter your experience. No matter your background. No matter what they say. You belong in web3.

And if we all cared as much to talk about making this an inclusive and diverse space, we would literally be helping the underrepresented communities that are already here and being ignored and left behind. Let’s take care of our friends as eagerly as we want to make new ones.

I implore you to be mindful of gender non-conforming (GNC) folk when setting up safe spaces. As much good as you’re doing, if your welcome mat only says “Women” it can be confusing to know if we’re included. We’re drowning in a sea of binaries. Will you be a lighthouse?
