Retired argumentative man. Old enough to remember not only life before 2014 but also life in the 1970s. I have a long memory and a bad temper.

@MumbaiMetro3 @AshwiniBhide why issue a return ticket in the 1st place? Isn’t ticketing on Metro, like local trains?
Took a return ticket to Cuffe Parade, but on the return journey started from Churchgate.. was denied entry, helpdesk said u can enter only from Cuffe Parade.. same line, same journey, valid ticket, but not able to use.. wasted time @MumbaiMetro3 @AshwiniBhide @zoru75 @mashrujeet

Collegium system is working in the same way as the way the appointments have been made by the government : Justice Rekha Sharma, former Delhi High Court Judge.
J Sharma: within 7 days of J Nariman retirement 9 names were recommended but J Qureshi's name was dropped. I am indicating how the collegium system is working. Recently, one judge of allahabad HC made some kind of remarks against muslims in a seminar held by VHP and that too in premises of Allahabad HC itself. He was called by the collegium and it is understood that he gave public apology but when he went to the HC, he not only redacted but also wrote to the CJ of Alld HC that he didn't violate any judicial propriety. He retired and he was scout free from his remarks. In contrast, you find J Sreedharan who took suo moto against minister from MP for calling colonol sofia as sister of terrorist and directed for registration of FIR, the collegium transferres him to chhatisgarh and then on the asking og gov, to Allahabad HC. Who should we blame?. Collegium system is working in the same way as the way the appointments have been made by the gov

"Rahul Gandhi's rally will do ₹3000 crore loss for businessmen because it will create traffic" 😭 Never heard such arguments during BJP protests or even during IAC movement in 2011-2014
Delhi: On the INDIA bloc's rally scheduled to be held at Ramlila Maidan on November 1, Lajpat Nagar Market trader Yogendra Dawar says, "Such rallies have a very adverse impact on businesses, causing losses worth crores of rupees. Roads are closed and traffic jams occur, making it difficult for customers to commute. I humbly request them to hold their protests only after Diwali so that traders do not suffer losses during the festive season..."

The crisis is staring us in our face. But the Modi regime continues with gimmickry and guff. It doesn't care for the people or their votes, because it has Gyanesh and gang to win the elections.

Very important post on mayhem created by government wrt section 148 notices, JAO FAO fallacy. Govt wants revenue at any cost. This in long term will create negative impact on investment in India. The last line of the post is even more scary for taxpayers, Days are gone when state and law officers respected rule of law. #Incometax #taxation #CBDT #TaxTerrorism – at Waluj, India

India has set a world record as the first country to remove 132 million names from its electoral rolls. This occurred even though the expected number of first-time voters was around 82 million and deaths accounted for roughly 38 million.

Mixing up numbers on employment as a counter. Classic deflection. Deflection that you need because you couldn’t counter directly.
Mobile PLI stats as follows: Government incentive paid: Rs 19,000 Cr. Direct tax collected: Rs 25,000 Cr. GST collected: Rs 3,00,000 Cr. Electronics manufacturing employs 25 Lakh people; mobile manufacturing alone employs 12 Lakh. Cope harder!!

Wow. I actually agree with Bernie. In Japan corporations have some loyalty to their local constituents and their nation. Not in USA. If we had consistent tax rates nationwide, corporations couldn’t use jobs to blackmail cities into tax breaks.

Corporate greed is Microsoft making $134 billion in profits last year, receiving $19 billion in tax breaks under Trump, paying a lower federal income tax rate than a nurse and getting rid of 60,000 workers. “Corporations will create jobs if they get tax breaks” is a total scam.

No other country has the insane regulation to scrap vehicles after 10 or 15 years that India has in Delhi NCR. It's nothing short of madness, in a country where people use their vehicles for decades; and many can't afford the switch. It's also an environemental disaster in terms of the energy, material, mining and plastic used to create a new vehicle. Can you believe that this crazy resolution was passed by the farce which calls its "National Green Tribunal" but was instead meant as a power and reward system for crony FCRA NGOs.
