Malice and Method Man are both older and rap circles around him with fewer words required. Nas and Black Thought are also far better at the same age. A lot of rap fans expose themselves as being enamored by how many words Em strings together despite usually saying fuck all lol

Out of all of Kendrick's weaknesses, being a feature artist might be his biggest one. Both Drake and Cole smoke him in that aspect of the game.

Artists don't owe fans new music, let alone on a set schedule. Some value a scarcity mindset, which increases value. Releasing too frequently dilutes that value. Every artist must decide which option fits their creative process and the audience they've built.
