AIPAC is now spending as much as $9 million against Abdul El-Sayed. AIPAC is why we’re at war in Iran. AIPAC is why the U.S. has supported genocide in Gaza. We must say NO to AIPAC. YES to electing Abdul as Michigan’s next U.S. Senator.

I see many wondering why the No Kings rallies are not as confrontational or angry as protests in France, Albania etc, and have no concrete demands It’s because No Kings participants are certain the Democrats will sweep the midterms, and their only demand is that we vote Democrat These are purely get out the vote rallies for a Democrat Party that is still generally pro-war, pro-Israel, and corporate friendly They are filled with boomerlibs hypnotized by MSNOW and first term Trump era Russiagate propaganda. Once the Dems take power, they go back to brunch. Any more radical demands are sure to be diluted within the partisan No Kings morass, or shut down by a lady wearing a shirt that says “Resist.”

Most of whats posted on X about climate change is disinformation and lies. But it’s now hotter than it’s been in over 100,000 years, long before human civilisation developed. Carbon dioxide levels are higher than in millions of years. This is what happens when the world refuses to listen to scientists. And it’s just beginning.

No human alive has seen an El Niño event this strong. In fact, it’s possible that no human in history has seen an event this strong. Forecasts continue to project a 3.5-4.0°C ‘Super El Nino’. Temperatures in the east Pacific are now widely 5°C above average, peaking at 6°C.

Someone on the news saying how shocked they are by the wildfires. No one listening to scientists for the last 20 years is shocked.

The smoke in Chicago is so thick you can see and smell it and we all have to stay inside as much as possible. Seems like this ought to be a bigger deal politically. I fear the creeping normalcy of climate destruction.

They're no longer forecasts, models, theories... it's reality. We're going to experience an El Niño unlike any other in recorded history. The incredible thing about this graph is only surpassed by how incredible it is that practically no "news outlet" will feature it.

I am a yes
Soon, the House will vote on an amendment to block taxpayer funding to Israel’s military. I will vote yes. The Israeli government committed war crimes in Gaza and helped drag America into war with Iran. Americans should not be financing more weapons for Netanyahu. I am aware that the amendment as written may cut off both military weapons (~$3.3 billion) and some diplomatic funding (~$50 million). While I would prefer to vote on an amendment that stripped just military funding, I think opposing the billions in military funding is what’s most important here.
