My homegirl invited me to a house party. What she didn’t mention was that it was only girls… and I was the only guy. When I walked in, the music was already playing and the living room was full of them about ten girls in total, all in g-strings, no bras, moving around like it was the most normal thing in the world. Conversation didn’t even stop when I entered. A few of them looked over, smiled, and went right back to talking and drinking. My homegirl walked up to me in nothing but a black g-string, fully comfortable, and handed me a drink. “You look nervous,” she said, amused. “Relax. Nobody bites… unless you want them to.”

It didn’t take long for the energy to shift. One of her friends came up behind me, rested her hands on my shoulders, and whispered, “So you’re the one she keeps talking about.” Another girl on the couch openly checked me out without any shame. The fact that they were all half-naked made every glance feel heavier. My homegirl stayed close at first, almost like she was showing me off. Then she leaned into my ear and said, “They’re curious about you. Some of them more than others.” Before I could reply, she took my hand and pulled me toward the hallway. Two of her friends followed without being asked. Nobody questioned it. Nobody tried to stop it. The party just continued behind us like this was expected.

The bedroom door closed. My homegirl kissed me first while one of her friends moved behind me, pressing her bare chest against my back. The third girl sat on the bed and watched with a small smile, fingers already sliding into her g-string. Clothes (what little they were wearing) came off fast. What started with my homegirl straddling me quickly became all three of them taking turns hands, mouths, bodies overlapping. One would ride me while the other kissed her. Then they would switch without needing to discuss it. The sounds in the room mixed with the distant bass from the party outside. By the time it was over, my homegirl was lying beside me catching her breath, one friend resting her head on my chest, and the other still tracing her fingers along my stomach. She looked at me and let out a short, satisfied laugh. “Told you nobody bites…” she paused, then added, “unless you want them to.”

MAX VS THE MAN IN BLACK: THE FINAL FIGHT SCENE Max heard the glass break before he saw the man. He stepped into the abandoned restaurant and found the stranger standing beside a overturned table, wearing a black coat with blood running down one sleeve. “You came alone?” the man asked. Max shut the door behind him. “You wanted me. Here I am.” The man smiled. “I wanted to see whether the stories were true.” Max removed his jacket and dropped it onto a chair. “Come find out.” The stranger moved first. He crossed the room with startling speed and threw a right hand at Max's face. Max leaned away, felt the punch brush his cheek, and answered with a sharp shot to the ribs. The stranger grunted but barely moved. Max followed with a left hook. The man ducked. Max's fist sailed over his shoulder, and the stranger drove forward, slamming him into the edge of a dining table. Wood cracked. Max caught himself with one hand before he hit the floor. He twisted around and kicked backward, catching the man in the thigh. The stranger stumbled. Max sprang up and threw two quick punches, one to the body and another toward the jaw. The second landed cleanly. The man's head snapped sideways. For the first time, the smile disappeared. Max pressed his advantage. He stepped in, feinted high, then swung low. The stranger blocked the first strike but took the second against his side. Max grabbed his coat and drove him backward into a row of chairs. They crashed to the floor together. A chair broke beneath them. Max scrambled free first, landed a kick that sent the stranger rolling, and stood over him, breathing hard. “Stay down,” Max warned. The man spat blood onto the tiles. Then he started laughing. Not nervously. Not because he had lost control. He laughed like Max had just told him a joke. “You've got good hands,” he said, pushing himself upright. Max raised his fists. “Then stop talking.” The stranger stood, rolled his shoulders, and looked around the ruined restaurant. “Gladly.” He picked up a heavy drinking glass from the counter. Max's eyes followed it. The stranger smashed it against the counter's edge. Glass shattered across the floor. Max shifted his stance. The man threw the broken glass aside. “I don't need that,” he said. Then he charged.

My neighbor knocked on my door at 12:08 a.m. wearing an oversized black T-shirt and holding a set of car keys. Neighbor: “I need a favor, and you might think I’m crazy.” Me: “It’s midnight. You showing up here already tells me something is wrong.” She laughed and walked inside. Neighbor: “I was about to drive somewhere, but I changed my mind.” Me: “Where were you going?” She dropped her keys on the table and looked at me. Neighbor: “To see someone I haven’t been able to stop thinking about.” Me: “And what happened?” Neighbor: “I realized I didn’t actually want to see him.” I leaned against the kitchen counter. Me: “Then why get dressed and pick up your keys?” She looked at me for a few seconds before answering. Neighbor: “Because I was trying to convince myself that I didn’t want to come here instead.” I went quiet. She walked over to the couch and sat down, watching me with an expression I couldn’t quite understand. Me: “You’ve been acting strange around me lately.” Neighbor: “You noticed?” Me: “You barely say hello anymore. Last week, you saw me coming out of the elevator and turned around like you’d forgotten something.” She laughed nervously. Neighbor: “I was embarrassed.” Me: “About what?” Neighbor: “About the fact that I was starting to like you, and I couldn’t tell if you felt the same way.” I sat beside her. Me: “You could have just asked.” Neighbor: “And risk making things awkward between us every time we met in the hallway?” Me: “Instead, you came to my apartment after midnight?” She covered her face, laughing. Neighbor: “When you say it like that, I sound ridiculous.” Me: “A little.” She playfully pushed my shoulder, then became quiet again. Neighbor: “Can I tell you something without you making fun of me?” Me: “I promise.” She took a breath. Neighbor: “Every time I hear your door open, I look through my peephole to see if it’s you.” I started laughing. Neighbor: “You promised!” Me: “I’m sorry. I just didn’t expect that.” She shook her head and reached for her keys. Neighbor: “Forget it. I’m going home.”

A woman was denied entry to a hotel because she arrived in trainers and an old hoodie. She was about to leave when she noticed a man in designer clothes being welcomed inside wearing muddy boots. She asked the receptionist one question, and the manager came running.

Neighbor: “Can I borrow your ladder for a few hours? I need to fix something on my roof.” Me: “Sure. Just be careful with it. I bought it last month.” He smiled, carried the ladder across the street, and disappeared into his house. Two hours later, I looked outside and saw the ladder leaning against his roof. My neighbor was standing in his garden, staring up at something. I walked over. Me: “Hey, are you finished with my ladder?” He turned around slowly. Neighbor: “Almost. I have a small problem.” Me: “What kind of problem?” He pointed toward the roof. Neighbor: “I think I accidentally locked myself out of my own house.” I stared at him. Me: “You’re standing in your garden. How did you lock yourself out?” He sighed. Neighbor: “I climbed through the upstairs window to fix a loose roof tile. When I finished, I came back down the ladder, but the wind slammed the window shut. My keys are still inside.” I looked at the house. Me: “Why didn’t you just use the ladder to climb back up?” He pointed toward the roof. Neighbor: “Because the ladder slipped, and now it’s stuck behind the gutter.” I closed my eyes. Me: “So you borrowed my ladder to fix your roof, got locked out, and then got my ladder stuck?” Neighbor: “When you say it like that, it sounds worse than it is.” Before I could respond, his wife pulled into the driveway. She stepped out of the car, looked at him standing in the garden, and burst out laughing. Wife: “Not again!” I turned toward her. Me: “What do you mean, not again?” She walked over and folded her arms. Wife: “Last year, he climbed onto the garage roof to retrieve a football. He managed to get the football down, but he couldn’t get himself down.”
