I can’t believe I’ve done NFT go-to-market for 40+ projects without this tech before. All that time and effort spent chasing questionable marketing value from collaboration partners, only to end up giving allocations to the most opportunistic users with little or no skin in the game. Seriously, think about it. You can collaborate with the alpha groups of Pudgy Penguins or Bored Apes, but even then, you are barely penetrating those communities. The actual hardcore collectors usually don’t care about grinding for WL spots or entering AlphaBot raffles. The methods we use to distribute WL are often the exact methods that turn off the audience founders are trying to reach. In 2021–2022, WL giveaways worked wonders. Today, with a few exceptions, I think they are one of the worst things you can do for your project. I’ve allocated every GTD spot for @IronAllies_ through @NucleusCodes, with spots going to users with the strongest on-chain NFT metrics. Every single person currently qualifying for an allocation is an absolute legend. This is distribution at its finest: objective criteria, almost zero effort required from participants, and no grinding. Just connect your wallets and let your history speak for itself. Only the Top 50 will receive GTD spots, but looking at the leaderboard, I genuinely think almost anyone in the Top 250 would be a great candidate for an allocation. Two more weeks until mint. I can’t wait to see what the final leaderboard looks like.
