GERD EXPLAINED
Bile is alkaline & neutralizes stomach acidity
Bile tends to paralyze muscles, hence the lower esophageal sphincter dysfunction, this leads to reflux
GERD is a *bile in stomach* problem, NOT an *excess acidity* problem
Stomach is designed for acid, not bile

The thesis is this: there's a solid connection between potassium intake and lack of obesity:

Obviously this doesn't have to be because of the specific nutrient itself, there's always healthy user bias, correlation-not-causation, blah blah blah I get it.
But what if there IS some kind of causal effect? It's worth at least considering. Finding ways to boost potassium and zinc (fruit and meat), IMHO, could drive reduced overall hunger and food consumption once the body's had its fill.
Why not?

Excess bodyfat is a toxicity accumulation condition
PUFAs and sugars in excess turn into toxic aldehydes, if you didnβt know
Notice how most long-term successful diets emphasize muscle meat proteins instead of sugars or fats?
Exercise increases oxidation, the main chemical pathway for detoxification of toxins, exercise of some sort is always a part of successful long-term weight loss
There are reasons for all of these patterns. Itβs not so much Calories as it is TOXICITIES
