OCTOBER 25, 2026 β€” A DAY I WON’T FORGET. πŸ’”πŸ“‰ Today, I lost $1,200 trading Step 400 and Step 300. Both my personal money and an investor’s money were lost because I allowed revenge trading to take control of me. I knew the rules. I knew the risks. I knew what I was supposed to do. But knowing what to do and having the discipline to do it are two different things. Today, I learned that lesson the hard way. I'm not writing this to gain sympathy or pretend to be a perfect trader. I'm writing this because I want to document my real journey, not just the wins, profits, and green screenshots people love to post. Behind every trader you admire, there may be battles you know nothing about. Today, I lost money, but I refuse to let this experience be meaningless. I take responsibility for my decisions. I need to rebuild my discipline, protect capital, and become the trader I know I can be. I also owe my investor honesty, accountability, and a clear conversation about what happened. I'm hurt, but I'm not giving up on becoming a better version of myself. I'll take a step back, learn from this mistake, and work on the person behind the charts. My journey isn't over. This chapter is painful, but it doesn't have to define the rest of my story. One day, I'll look back at October 25 and remember not just the money I lost, but the lesson that changed me. I WILL RISE AGAIN. NOT THROUGH REVENGE TRADING, BUT THROUGH DISCIPLINE, PATIENCE, AND CONSISTENCY. This is Obasfx. My story is still being written. πŸ“ˆπŸ–€ #TradingPsychology #ForexTrading #TraderJourney #Obasfx

🌟 NEW WEEK, NEW BLESSINGS! πŸ“ˆ May this new week bring every trader clarity, discipline, patience, and profitable opportunities. May we have the wisdom to wait for the right setups, the courage to follow our trading plans, and the discipline to protect our capital. May our analysis align with the market, may our risks remain controlled, and may our efforts yield positive results. Remember, the goal isn't to trade every day but to trade wisely and stay consistent. May Allah bless our efforts, protect our capital, and grant us a successful trading week. Ameen! 🀲 Happy New Week, Traders! β€οΈπŸ“Š

This chart cost me almost $2,000. Since last week, I've been trying to figure out what went wrong with my analysis. Today, I finally identified my mistake. The overall market structure was bullish, but I allowed the strong bearish movement on the lower timeframe to influence my trading decisions. I became so focused on the minor bearish trend that I completely ignored the bigger picture. There was a significant support zone on the higher timeframe, yet I kept looking for selling opportunities. Meanwhile, the market continued to push higher. My biggest mistake was trading against the dominant trend while ignoring a major higher-timeframe support zone. This taught me an important lesson: Never allow lower-timeframe price action to make you lose sight of the bigger market structure. Trading is a continuous learning process. Sometimes, the market teaches you lessons that no book or course can teach. I've identified my mistake, learned from it, and it's time to move forward. Never give up. Keep learning. Keep improving. πŸ“ˆ

A MESSAGE TO EVERY TRADER STRUGGLING WITH TRADING PSYCHOLOGY. πŸ§ πŸ“ˆ There was a time when I thought my biggest problem in trading was my strategy. I kept searching, learning, studying charts, and looking for better entries. But eventually, I started realizing that the battle was deeper than the charts. Sometimes, you know exactly what to do, but when real money is involved, your emotions begin to take control. You enter a good trade, but fear makes you close early. You experience a loss, and suddenly, you want to recover it immediately. You see price moving without you, and FOMO pushes you into a trade that was never part of your plan. Before you know it, you're no longer trading your analysis. You're trading your emotions. I've been through this struggle, and it taught me something important: knowing how to trade and learning how to manage yourself while trading are two different skills. The psychological battle can be exhausting. It can affect your confidence, your patience, your decisions, and even how you see yourself outside trading. But please, don't allow a difficult season in the market to make you believe you're incapable of improving. You can start again. You can learn to accept losses without revenge trading. You can learn to walk away after placing a trade. You can learn that missing an opportunity is better than forcing one. And most importantly, you can learn that your worth as a person is not determined by your trading account balance. I'm still learning. I'm still working on myself. I'm learning to value discipline over excitement, patience over FOMO, and capital preservation over the need to prove something to the market. The goal is not to become a trader who never feels fear. The goal is to become a trader who doesn't allow fear to make every decision. If you're struggling with trading psychology right now, take a breath. Step back if you need to. Review your mistakes honestly, reduce your risk, and give yourself room to grow. You don't have to recover everything today. You don't have to prove yourself to anyone. One trade doesn't define you. One loss doesn't erase everything you've learned. Keep learning. Keep growing. Protect your peace as much as you protect your capital. We're not just learning how to read the market. We're learning how to master our own behaviour within it. 🧠❀️ β€” Obasfx
