This first significant snowfall is a good reminder to keep a snow brush handy to clean all of your windows, lights and roof. Make sure your tires are in good shape to accommodate changing road conditions throughout the winter. ottawapolice.ca/en/safety-an…

This is why we #RidetoRemember. For the 884 police & peace officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their community. We will always come together every September to remember them & to show their family, friends & colleagues that they will never be forgotten. @CPPOM

Our #RidetoRemember may look different this year, but our dedication is the same. @WRPSToday is on the road today for their leg of the ride. #RideSafe @TeamWrps

We've got that #FridayFeeling, thanks to our Presenting Sponsor #Futurecom & Gold Sponsor @Axon_Canada, for their generous donations to the #RidetoRemember. Even though our full ride isn't happening, they stood by their original donations to help us honour our fallen heroes.

I've worked frontline at all ranks.I can attest that 'constable' is the most demanding-especially these days. I'm happy to hear that officers have been thanked by the citizens they serve, moreso than ever before. We have tough skin, but we appreciate your thanks. #wehaveyourback
