THREAD: Across Europe and beyond, a fresh wave of street mobilizations is being read by some observers as the latest chapter in a resurgent global contest between left and right. - In France, high-school blockades over teacher shortages, overcrowded classrooms and crumbling buildings have drawn in major unions and the far-left La France Insoumise, with marches swelling into broader cost-of-living actions. - In Spain, tenants’ unions and labor federations (CCOO and UGT) have driven nationwide protests against soaring rents and evictions, culminating in a snap election. - In Belgium, the socialist and Christian unions have led anti-austerity marches, joined by students protesting education costs in a movement explicitly influenced by events across the border. - In India, the Gen Z-led Cockroach Janta Party has partnered with left student organizations such as AISA and SFI have found street mobilisation opportunities manufacturing public concerns over electoral rolls and earlier exam irregularities. What unites these episodes is the organizational weight of left-leaning unions, student federations and parties that have supplied structure, framing and political grammar to ever present general grievances rooted in education quality, public-service strains and youth economic insecurity. Interestingly, a Fox News investigation has observed that a transnational network of communist and socialist groups, amplified by media outlets linked to Shanghai-based financier Neville Roy Singham, has helped project the French protests internationally. We investigated and discovered the same pattern in India.

🧵THREAD | PART 2 Human Online journalist Garima Singh has been receiving praise for her coverage of the Delhi protests. But here’s what happened when I approached her using a fake email ID, offering her a project to create political reels for the SP ahead of the 2027 UP elections. Garima quoted ₹12,000 for a single reel. She also acknowledged that she had previously made videos for the Trinamool Congress (TMC). 1/
🧵THREAD | Read every single post in this thread carefully. | Independent journalists are being widely praised for their coverage of the ongoing protests in Delhi. But what lies behind this carefully cultivated image of independence? These journalists openly give protesters a platform, take their side during confrontations, and even obstruct police action. Their conduct during protests is there for everyone to see. I decided to put some of these self-proclaimed independent journalists to the test. Using a fake email ID, I approached several of them with a proposal to create Instagram videos for the SP ahead of the 2027 UP elections. What happened next? They responded with work samples and quoted their prices for producing political content. I’m sharing screenshots of the email replies I received from each of them as evidence. Meet journalist Mamta Singh. You may have frequently seen her videos on the media outlet News Capsule. Mamta Singh quoted ₹40,000 for a single reel. 1/

It's worth noting that CANVAS material has reached India. In 2018, Ekta Parishad's Ramesh Sharma translated a CANVAS chapter into Hindi, and in 2020 the group published an ICNC-funded guide. In March 2026, Sambhaavnaa Institute, which also lists Yadav as a resource person, ran a course on elections. (18/n)

What began as “non-violent” protests against the CEC over SIR was preceded by months of quiet networking. HRF’s Tyranny Tracker (Feb 2026) first branded India a “hybrid authoritarian” regime via the Bihar SIR- an exact narrative YoYa amplified on his US tour. Those same CANVAS/Gene Sharp methods he has long studied are now fully visible on Indian streets. (19/19)
