You no even lie
Those days
They see you as a wayward child to buy food outside while there's food at home
I don't really know much about Akwa Ibom or Calabar , but let me speak on behalf of my Igbo people.
We Igbos don't really believe in buying cooked food. We prefer to prepare our own meals.
One reason I think the Yorubas have thrived more in the food business is that they are more accustomed to buying prepared food rather than always cooking at home.
Growing up, our Yoruba neighbours would give their children ₦20 every morning to buy food before going to school. Our parents, on the other hand, rarely did that. They made sure we had food prepared at home before leaving for school.
Years ago, if you opened a commercial food business in the East, you might struggle to make sales because people weren't accustomed to buying cooked food. Almost everyone prepared their own meals at home.
So, I think this difference in food culture is one of the reasons the Yorubas gained an advantage in the food business.

They will not rewrite our history again. Never!
We will no longer tolerate lies being peddled against the Igbo. We will challenge, correct and counter every false narrative before it has a chance to spread. Enough is enough!!!!
Quick reminder
Dont travel out of your place t registering if you plan on voting
If you registered in Lagos or Abuja or Kano don travel down to East to Celebrate Christmas cause APC government will make It difficult for you to come back and vote
Transportation will so High
It baffles me on how @inecnigeria registered more northerners in my local government and my village more than the real indigenous people that comes from this area and you think this election will still be free and fair?
Please make this situation make sense

If it were today, in 2026, the allegation that it was an Igbo coup wouldn't have stood.
But back then, those guys behaved just like some of you today, hiding behind "I don't want to be tribalistic."
Omo, nowadays, we counter every lie head-on. Nobody gets to rewrite histroy

Apart from Amala and Ewedu, Beans and Bread, what other foods can you boast of?
When you have a variety of food options, ranging from different mouthwatering soups to other delicious meals you can prepare at home,
you can't possibly subject yourself to the punishment of eating

Festus rig and die
After safely ferrying their children abroad, some unscrupulous politicians are encouraging hapless citizens and thugs to take up weapons to kill one another under the pretext of ‘protecting their votes’. That’s fine.
Let me reiterate what late President Buhari said pre-2019 election (which I supported and I still support): when you resort to self-help and you take up dangerous weapons in the guise of ‘protecting your votes’ and you attack anybody, it is lawful and legitimate for law enforcement agents to ‘neutralise’ you or simple ‘put you down’ in the course of their duty. And the children of the politicians will be watching your foolishness from their safe haven somewhere in the world.
Having been forewarned, you can then go ahead and exercise your options. CHIKENA!!
20 years ago at around 5:30 am, Anambra lawmakers impeached Peter Obi because he refused to inflate the state budget and share public money with politicians. If you are criticizing this man on the internet I want you to sit down and think about that for a moment.
A governor was removed because he refused to spend money recklessly, refused to satisfy political godfathers and refused to turn public funds into a settlement for lawmakers.
They accused him of gross misconduct because he drove a Peugeot 406, bought furniture locally and spent far less than the hundreds of millions approved for renovating the Governor's office and Lodge. They thought they could force him out and end his political journey. They were wrong.
The courts overturned his impeachment, and the Supreme Court later reaffirmed his right to complete his constitutionally guaranteed tenure.
Twenty years have passed, but one thing remains clear, Peter Obi's refusal to share public money with the corrupt political class was enough to make him their sworn enemy.
There are very few politicians in Nigeria like Peter Obi and I strongly believe that God has given us another opportunity to get things right in this country. Nigerians, please, do not take this opportunity for granted.
