stBTC has officially earned its first full BTC in Bitcoin Staking rewards on Stacks. 633 BTC staked across Genesis Bond and Bond 2. 1.0272 BTC in rewards paid. And the next bond is already in sight. Bitcoin yield is becoming tangible on Stacks. The next milestone starts here. 🟠

Bitcoin doesn’t have to remain idle to remain Bitcoin. At Bitcoin Amsterdam, Tycho Onnasch is exploring how native BTC can become productive capital through Zest’s Bitcoin Collateral Vaults. 483 of the 505 BTC in Bond 2 came through stBTC. That’s almost the entire bond allocation flowing through Stacking DAO’s liquid Bitcoin staking product. Bond 3 brings 1,005 BTC capacity, more than both previous bonds combined. October was a serious month for Zest. 135 Bitcoin Collateral Vaults opened on Bitcoin L1, each holding native BTC without wrapping, bridging or pooling. Now in audit, this could unlock a completely different way to put Bitcoin to work. Meanwhile, Stacks Market borrow activity passed $40M, stBTC supply tripled to 405.4 BTC, and 81% of supplied sBTC was borrowed. The 100 BTC Levered Bitcoin Staking Vault filled in just 7 hours. Bitcoin capital is becoming productive across Stacks DeFi. The infrastructure is getting stronger, and the next phase looks even more interesting.

Two months after stBTC launched, Bitcoin now accounts for more than half of @StackingDao $93.3M TVL. Bitcoin Staking Bond 3 is another important step for BTCFi on @Stacks. The conversation is moving beyond simply making BTC yield-bearing.
