Another volume by Carl Schmitt, which might cast some theoretical light on the conflict occuring here (and soon, elsewhere throughout the West) is "Legality and Legitimacy". This 2004 reprint by @DukePress of the 1932 original.

For those confused as to what’s happening in Poland right now…
Imagine if Democrats won Congress, declared the Supreme Court didn't count anymore, ignored its rulings for 3 years, and then, a year before the next election, picked 8 new justices of their own, including a man their leader called his "right-hand man," and when the Republican president refused to swear them in, they swore themselves in and mailed him the paperwork, and when the Chief Justice said that wasn't legal and wouldn't seat them, they waited for a Friday night when the president was on a plane to Africa and had federal security officers who answer to a Democratic cabinet member walk 7 of them into the court through a back gate connected to the Democratic leader's own offices, where one of them announced she had "suspended" the Chief Justice, a move that even a law professor who openly can't stand him said had no legal basis, and then riot police blocked the Chief Justice from entering his own court, the court's website was taken over, the Attorney General moved that same night to strip his immunity so he could be prosecuted, the president had to turn his plane around mid-flight to come home, and the same people who spent years lecturing everyone about respecting the courts went online to say this was the rule of law, that it was painful, and that there was "no other way," which is roughly where Poland is tonight.
There is a certain generational cohort that bemoans the rekindled interest in the work of Carl Schmitt (especially among young men) without realising that the conditions for this interest are ripe and have been cultivated by that same boomer elite for the last several decades.
What is happening in Poland is a prime example of the right utterly unwilling to weild power
The military should have been waiting at the airstip for the president to land
A convoy of armed men should have rocked up and encircled the building while the police should have been disarmed and arrested.
The president then should have entered and had the insurrectionists immediately arrested including Donald Tusk
This is why the left keep doing what they are doing. Because the right has the power and refuses to use it, especially when it is justified.
This is a well documented phenomenon, as shown in Melford E. Shapiro's "Gender & Culture: Kibbutz Women Revisited" by @TransactionPub (now @tandfonline @routledgebooks).
Simply put, everything that derives from the politics of sexual emancipation is a war against human nature.
Recent events in Middle Europe incline us to share the latest addition to the editorial library, a rare and pricy book, but worth every cent. Comparatively little is know about the history and philosophy of this part of the world, but it can be a goldmine for research.
What we witnessed yesterday in Warsaw was a blatant violation of Poland’s constitution. I never thought @donaldtusk would sink to such depths as to stage a coup d’état against his own people. I sincerely hope President @NawrockiKn succeeds in his efforts to uphold Poland’s constitutional order. Our hearts go out to the Polish people.
If it's wholesome Japanese cinema you're after, anything by Yasujirō Ozu will hit the mark, like this classic "Tokyo Story".
Contrast it with some other cinematographic works which have been used as tools for social engineering.

We reviewed this book in our inaugural issue and were told by the author it was the first serious treatment of his thesis, in print.
The book illustrates that patriarchal social structures were rational responses to biological imperatives, and served the interests of both sexes.
Patriarchy existed to STOP OTHER MEN.
You really think men invented patriarchy to hold YOU down? You are too weak, too fragile, too irrelevant for men to waste invention on you.
Men invented patriarchy to protect their lands, food, money, resources, women and children FROM MEN.
500 years ago women didn't know what patriarchy was because it was SURVIVAL.
No police. No 911. No guns. No cell phones. If a rival tribe wanted you, they killed your men, raped you, took your land, took your food, and married you off to their sons or kept you as maids, servants, and sex slaves. That was history.
Patriarchy said: TOUCH HER AND YOU DIE. She belongs to this man, this family, this tribe. That was not oppression. That was a DEATH THREAT to other men to keep you safe.
Pregnancy = 9 months useless. Breastfeeding mother can't run, can't fight, baby cries and brings wolves.
Who hunted? MEN.
Who fought bears? MEN.
Who fought other men? MEN.
Who built houses in snow? MEN.
Who died in wars? 90% MEN.
If men left women alone to be "independent" in 1500, you would have gone EXTINCT in one winter. No food. No fire. No protection.
You are alive today because of patriarchy.
Modern luxury - AC, Uber Eats, iPhone, birth control, police made yall RETARDED and ungrateful. You think world was always safe.
You think animals don't hunt humans for food?
Who stopped all these? Patriarchy. Men who built walls, laws, armies, civilization so you can sit on TikTok with fake eyelashes and say "patriachy oppress me."
You are not oppressed. You are PROTECTED and too dumb to know it.
Without patriarchy, you wouldn't be CEOs. You'd be extinct or a sex slave to the strongest man in your own village that’s been conquered by the enemy.
Patriarchy is not why you are suffering. Patriarchy is why you are ALIVE to complain.
Governments in Western Europe have a strange way to remind people that they do indeed have borders, and police them without hesitation.
We might remind people of Sellner's two recent books that likely ruffled some feathers on the continent.

🇫🇷 Two days ago, the French state imposed an indefinite entry and residence ban on me across the entire country.
They claim I pose a "genuine, present and sufficiently serious threat" to public order.
This claim relies on left-wing lies, hearsay, and events that took place almost 20 years ago, and is not based on any criminal conviction!
There was no trial, and the appeal process does not automatically suspend the ban. After one year (!), I can ask the French state to reconsider. After five years, they must review whether I still pose a "danger."
If I return, I face deportation and potentially up to three years in prison for evading enforcement.
The only chance to avoid potentially being banned for life from a country I love, where I have friends, family, and many business connections, is to sue the French state.
I have two months to challenge the order in court.
I will fight it.
If you want to stop this from becoming a precedent, you can support me here.

"Mine Were of Trouble", a biography of a volunteer for the Nationalist side of the Spanish Civil War, was also reprinted in a single volume containing Peter Kemp's entire trilogy: "Ten Years at War". It was released by Mystery Grove Publishing back when they did books.
There's a new edition of Peter Kemp's long unavailable memoir Mine Were of Trouble, one of the very few books written by an English volunteer for General Franco's Nationalists during the #spanishcivilwar

A superbly rich story, in which you will encounter characters modern award-winning authors are incapable of writing. For example, a navel officer of 17 years experience, who wears a single eye glass, and false teeth... at the ripe age of 31.

In King Solomon's Mines, underneath all of the braggadicio and Deus Ex Machina's, there is a very simple question being asked:
If a perfect stranger offered you a map with the directions to a great treasure, would you have the courage to hunt it out?
We think the answer to this question determines the rise and fall of civilisations.

READ OLD BOOKS
This one (on topic) by J D Unwin - republished recently by @imperiumpress1 - is an excellent description of the below post.
This is a nice way of describing a phenomenon to which @herandrews has already given a name earlier this year.
Hint:
Risk taking behaviour is often correlated with the prevalence of a certain hormone dominant in one cohort of the population - it no longer dominates publishing.
I tend to agree with many leftists that the publishing industry keeps pushing out the same sorts of books, but while leftists will blame this standardization on capitalism, I believe it's the opposite.
The problem with publishing is that we've abandoned the tenets of risk-taking and innovation that have produced not only our culture's greatest scientific discoveries but also its greatest works of art.
Dissident Publishing is undergoing a boom precisely for this reason. It may not be the only reason, but it's certainly a large part of it. A big "thank you" to the Big Brains in the mainstream and legacy institutions for tripling down on their affirmative action and DEI policies.
Join this elite club today. It costs next to nothing for the ennoblement it can promise, are is therefore the purest expression of the aristocratic soul in the contemporary era.

I've just received a copy of Observer & Review (Vol 4, Issue 1, N. 7, 2026), featuring my article “A Thomistic View of Natural Law”. The journal was launched in 2023. This print journal features articles on culture, metapolitics, history and jurisprudence. sidestream.press/or-no-7-202…
Traditionalist without being anachronistic, these two books by @AdamsArtist will inoculate the reader from the dehumanising ideology that dominates the humanities and the arts scene today. Published by @imperiumpress1.

This is the premier right-wing intellectual journal produced in Australia. I’m honoured that the great Dr Luke Torrisi is focusing on my thought on Australian identity in part 2 of his series on Australian identity. I couldn’t think of a better man to do it.
