Thanks for helping us shine a light on this devastating day.
With the world focused on the Sept. 11 attacks, the regime of Eritrea's dictator Isaias Afwerki ordered the closure of all independent newspapers & imprisoned senior journalists & members of the G-15 group of political dissidents, 22 years ago today. aljazeera.com/opinions/2017/…

All Eritreans need to commemorate the date 18 September because that was the day, 22 years ago, our free press was shut down, the arrests of the high profile dissidents started and Isaias took full control. It was the day our country forever changed.
We can never forget.

Lol mans will speak out of both sides of his mouth, objectifying Eritrean death & struggle w/out qualms, to advance his career
In his 2013 doc, Eritreans were righteous refugees who had fled persecution & survived a harrowing journey. Now, “Western-backed” “opposition thugs” 😂
Western media & anti-migrant forces are spreading misinformation about the mob violence in Tel Aviv. It was the latest coordinated assault by opposition thugs against a peaceful Eritrean festival, following brutal attacks in Canada and the US.
These mob assaults are part of the Western-backed campaign to overthrow the gov't of Eritrea, which has resisted IMF dictates and fought off the sectarian TPLF proxy force. Which is why Western media glorifies the pipe-wielding attackers as "pro-democracy protesters."

By attacking Eritreans refugees w guns & other weapons the Eritrean regime supporters are doing in the open what they’ve been doing for DECADES to Eritrean refugees.
The difference is that in the past they targeted & threatened isolated Eritrean refugees and weren’t recorded

"PLEASE build a US base in Eritrea. You're only one who can stabilize region. Just like France in Djibouti. I'll help in any way I can with invasion of Iraq & Afghanistan. Here's $600,000 a year for access to professional begging.
USA: No
Isaias post 2005:
Eritrean President, Isaias Afwerki at the 15th Annual BRICS Summit:
“US Exceptionalism– (or PAX AMERICANA) – has unleashed malaises that have gravely impaired global progress for almost a century now...
The tendency for unbridled escalation of the War in Ukraine led by the United States and NATO is fraught with consequences that are ghastly to contemplate.
Yet, the US and its allies continue to doggedly pursue this perilous path in a desperate attempt to turn back the clock of history and assert what they term as their “unassailable global superiority and dominance”...
Illegal and unilateral sanctions; weaponization of US dominated financial, economic and judicial institutions; as well as other punitive instruments in their toolbox are routinely invoked to punish those who do not toe the line.
These suffocating and malicious policies are embellished by high-sounding phrases in order to claim the moral high ground. They are also propagated extensively through their wide and subservient media outlets
But for all their efforts, these misguided and reckless policies have and continue to engender robust and growing popular resistance in all corners of the world."
The whole plan of the west was to isolate and weaken Russia. Now, look who’s in the minority.
Welcome to the multipolar world, guys!
