A DUI crash into an Ocoee home killed a family's dog & caused so much damage that the home was condemned. The vehicle hit the house just feet from a child's bedroom.
Thankfully, no people were seriously injured.
Drunk driving affects more than the driver. Don't drink and drive.
Nowhere to hide.
K9 Viper assisted officers investigating a burglary and quickly alerted to an apartment, where officers found 7 juveniles hiding in a closet.
Officers recovered debit/credit cards and a purse belonging to different people.
All 7 were arrested for burglary.
Today, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Ocoee Regional Law Enforcement Training Center.
Completed on time& under budget, this state-of-the-art facility will help law enforcement agencies across Central Florida sharpen their skills & better serve our communities.

Happy National Boss’s Day to Chief Ogburn.
Being a police chief means making tough decisions, leading by example, & keeping a lot of parts moving in the right direction.
Today, we recognize Chief Ogburn for his leadership, his commitment to our officers, & dedication to Ocoee.
Our officers recently helped an elderly woman who was confused & unsure where she was. She had driven from Largo to Ocoee, while her daughter had just reported her missing & requested a Silver Alert.
Our officers coordinated with Largo PD & her daughter, to pick her up.
