It's been nice for me. I packed up the cape long ago. Hangs in my closet next to Dad's. The world has several men who make great Supermen... The world just didn't need Jon Kent.

I had a cup of coffee with Psycho Pirate the other day. He told me in the realities he remembers, my dad was happy with my mom. But in the realities that came after, he was never happier then after I was born. It's the little things you know... keeps my chin up.

I'll never be the Superman my father was... But maybe I can be something else.
