The roar of a champion! 🇵🇭🔥 Alexandra Eala fought back from a set down to defeat Australia’s Talia Gibson 4–6 6–2 6–0 and reach the quarterfinals of the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo. The Filipina grew stronger as the match went on, winning the last nine games to complete an impressive comeback and book her first quarterfinal of this year’s Asian swing. 💪🎾 Keep roaring, Alex! 👏 #AsianTennisFederation #ATF #AsianTennis #AlexandraEala #AlexEala #TorayPPO #Tokyo #Tennis

Alex Eala.

Talia Gibson is playing very solid tennis against Eala and the crowd.

As Gibson‘s code ball drops in, Alex Eala lost the 1st set. The specters moan.　#Eala

As Eala comes onto the court, the stadium goes wild. #Eala
