Hot take - KPP was the worst thing they could have done for the platform because as a whole it's make Kick burn through money it would have otherwise had in the bank. You have people that have been proven to be botting their way to thousands of viewers, and who knows how many of them were paid out via KPP at an inflated rate due to the bots. Kick says they have "ways behind the scenes to know if someone is botting or not", but how many people got paid tens of thousands of dollars from KPP before staff caught on to the bots? I say remove KPP, lower the sub split to 70/30, and keep the ads. If you want kick to be sustainable, it NEEDS to make money.
🚨 Kick CEO Eddie Kraven speaks on KPP, and if Kick would pay streamers who are still on the platform from it's launch.. MORE MONEY. Eddie states he can no longer pay streamers 10 dollars an hour who have 1 to 2 viewers on Kick. Lastly, Eddie states he has cut no ones KPP but will it decrease in the future? , he left that on the table.... "Kick is in a situation, that it needs to become more economically sustainable long term. The reality is we can't afford to be paying people 10 dollars per hour to stream to 1 to 2 viewers. You need to have people watching." "Offering a minimum amount is just not feasible. 10000 partners would be 100000 dollars an hour." "You either increase revenue or decrease costs. But we are here to increase revenue not cut costs. We will always offer you 95/ 5, and KPP will exist. Will that rate change in the future? We can't guarantee it will stay at that rate. We have never decreased rates, we have only increased rates so far."

Hey @sama, you're right. It's totally a shame we consumers and PC enthusiasts have memory in our system when it could be used in your data centers. This is a brand new 32gb kit of ddr5. I'll sell it to you for $1,000,000. Deal? DMs are open.

I fucking hate having to be this guy Over the past few months, I’ve noticed a shift in how some long-time viewers and new followers are interacting with me. I want to take a moment to address this directly and set clear expectations moving forward. While adult humor has its time and place, there is a clear distinction between banter and inappropriate behavior. Recently, more and more lines are being crossed. I am repeatedly receiving unsolicited photos, controlling commentary, and beyond overly sexualized and unreasonable comments. To be direct: I am not a target to be seduced, nor am I open to being treated with disrespect. I am not a sex worker. I'm not here to do that work for you. And I will not tolerate anyone trying to make me uncomfortable. My platform is a space I built without intention at first, but I've learned better over the years maintaining a BASIC healthy, respectful environment for myself and this community comes first. Moving forward, I am enforcing a zero-tolerance policy for boundary-crossing: Unsolicited explicit or suggestive content will result in an immediate block. Entitled, controlling, or unwanted commentary will result in an immediate block. Tenure does not buy access. Being a supporter for years or a brand-new follower makes no difference-respect is the baseline requirement to be here. To the vast majority of you who have always shown up with genuine support, engagement, and respect: thank you. This reset is for you as much as it is for me, ensuring this remains a space worth being a part of. Thank you for understanding.

I bought 32Gb is ddr5 for my new build. I may more just to piss off Altman now.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman thinks it's "terrible" for people to have RAM in their computers rather than in a data center, as the scarcity of memory caused by the AI boom continues to drive up costs. bit.ly/47LJ09d

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026) Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love. We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway. America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire. His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen. Ian McKellen 29 October 2026 Photo: University of Huddersfield

Dafne Keen pays tribute to Patrick Stewart: “I heard of Patrick’s passing earlier today, which is funny in a kismet kind of way, considering I was drafting an email to send him late last night, something I hadn’t done in quite some time. He was such a kind, genuine, funny, unique, caring and charming man. I remember his endless jokes, nurturing nature and colourful reading glasses. Every single day spent working by his side was an honour and a privilege I can't quite believe I had. He was a walking master of his craft, and of life. One of the greatest of our time, on stage and on screen. I have always looked up to him, and always will. As an actor and as a man. He had a wonderful way of wrapping every ancient lesson he imparted in wonder, fun and excitement. I will always remember his warmth and the respect he showed to everyone around him. I will forever hold those months we spent together close to my heart, and will always think of him as a pivotal part of how I view the world around me. So rest in peace, you giant, you legend amongst men. The beautiful work, humanity and kindness you leave behind will live on forever.”
