The reason I’ve been working hard with our legislative leaders on a plan to suspend the Ohio fuel tax is the same as why I asked them to put Issue 3 on the ballot this November: our actions speak louder than words. We have to fight for the citizens who entrust us with power. That’s the only way forward for Ohio Republicans & it’ll be a new dawn in January.

To this day I am still battling access to the medication that keeps my body from shutting down. Just this past January insurance yanked my ability to have access to it and it equaled a week in the hospital in which one of the workers at @KetteringHealth that provided care and does not “believe” vaccine injuries wrote in a diagnosis of “pretending to be ill.”
Despite 4 years of documentation this is still taking place. My treatment that sustained me for a year has for a 2nd time in less then 5 months been pulled by @UHC @UnitedHealthGrp . Once again my body is failing to the point my will to continue has faded and my body is shutting down. How is it ok for the insurance company to pay out a claim that proclaimed I’m faking illness by a hospitalist that doesn’t know me yet pull treatment that keeps me alive?

@SenRonJohnson below is a short summary of who I am, a recording of my testimony at VRPBAC as well as a video clip via React 19 about my journey. In reality this is just a glimpse of what I have been reduced to.
Registered nurse and young mom, working in hospice home care during pandemic. Threatened benefits reduction along with incoming mandate. Transverse myelitis left her severely permanently disabled, no federal compensation, no NIH support.
Requires oxygen and can only ambulate very short distance with a walker. Without any federal guidance, due to continued failure of body systems including cardiovascular, respiratory and immune , doctors had also gave up on her, referring her to hospice/palliative care in 2024, to make
her comfortable until she dies. REACT19 intervened and helped her get therapies that were previously given by the NIH. With those therapies there is no longer a need for hospice as an option. Condition rapidly declines when current medical and federal regulations interfere
with access to those therapies. Treatment and medication costs over $200k per year just to keep

Doctors in the trenches treating Covid were the first to try and find viable treatment options, yet their free speech was stifled, their licenses were threatened, and their patients were denied their prescriptions and the right to try the treatment options discussed with their doctor.
Denying certain medications because of politics should never happen in this country. It’s time to protect OH doctors and their consenting patients and pass the Jeff, Dave & Angie Patient Right to Try Act (HB 12).
