Once you put eggs on a sandwich, you really limit the stuff that you can add. Pickles...BBQ sauce....😖
They shouldn't be a hot take, but the crowd that was asking for the Dream to develop play players like Okot and Pao with endgame reps are insane to me. Risking wins with the seating so close during the regular season does not make any sense.
I hate that we do this thing where we feel vindicated on every talking point because of the overall outcome, but the concept that they should've played more and should've had grace to play through their mistakes is crazy.

Wasn’t this the same woman that said shooting 3s was a detriment for the Dream just for the Dream to lose a championship to a team that shot more 3s than them ?
Y’all be careful who’s content y’all consuming! Test the ball knowledge first.

Let me say this before this gets misconstrued. I think DeMarco is a bad coach. In fact, I have been adamant this entire season about him being one of the worst coaches in the league. Arguably bottom, four or five. What I'm saying in this tweet is setting the precedent that you will be fired after one year will not build any sort of continuity nor will it make the job look any sexier. In fact, this will make the job look nasty.
For the people that are pro firing head coaches all the time just know that there are less competent coaches than there are players. Not superstar players, of course. But now New York is creating this revolving door and a reputation of blaming the coach first as opposed to looking at the talent they have. If I were someone with a stable job, there's no way that I would be entertaining phone calls from this organization if the leash has the length and strength of dental floss.
Last thing, I know WNBA fans will say that this is another opportunity for a black woman to potentially land this job. For one I don't think that they are looking that way. They will probably do the same thing that they did last go round and get some NBA assistant. But two with the lack of grace that comes with this job, you wouldn't want a black woman here. The opportunity should be quality as opposed to whatever this is.

Breaking: Chris DeMarco will not be retained as head coach of the New York Liberty, sources told ESPN. In his sole year at the helm, New York went 26-18 and was the No. 8 seed in the playoffs before getting swept by the Atlanta Dream in the semifinals. The Liberty will now seek their third head coach in three years.
This is sooooo silly.
Chris DeMarco won't be retained as head coach of the Liberty, per @alexaphilippou.
