This is going to be long. Sorry.
The entire "parent's rights" thing happening in AB right now is entirely based on strawman arguments, red herrings and sheer imagination. 1/12
Holy shit. Just quadrupling down on the MAGA nonsense. So embarrassing.
The best person for the job should get the job. Period.
Today we tabled legislation that would ensure hiring and promotion decisions in the public sector are based on merit, not DEI policies. Mandatory workplace training will be relevant to the roles and responsibilities of the employee, instead of mandatory DEI sessions.
Every Albertan deserves a fair shot, and fairness means everyone competes on the same terms.
This is how propaganda works.
In a new poll, 15% of Americans said they believe between 1 and 5% of NCAA athletes are transgender.
14% think between it's between 6 and 25%.
Meanwhile, an NCAA spokesperson confirmed that the current number is "effectively" zero

I don't know about you all but I'm at the "I'll believe it when I see it" stage with the RCMP and these political issues.
SCOOP: The RCMP is investigating fraud, breach of trust, and money laundering in connection with Alberta's health care procurement controversy, according to a letter filed in court

Imagine promoting this as if it’s a good thing.
200k isn’t “rich” and this is disingenuous nonsense.
Everyone's chanting "tax the rich" without actually looking at the numbers.
Someone earning $200k pays roughly $42,000 in federal income tax.
Someone earning $30k pays around $1,800.
That means it takes about 23 people earning $30k to match what one person earning $200k contributes.
So why is the policy conversation constantly aimed at pushing high earners out, when they're already carrying the overwhelming majority of the load?
The issue was never how much revenue comes in.
The issue is how much gets wasted once it's collected.
Stop aiming at the earners.
Start aiming at the spending.

I feel like a lot of people are just skipping over rhe whole Saddam Hussain part of Obama's Cheesecake Factory joke. Is the interpretation that Trump supporters are OK with the dictator comparison but draw the line at poking fun at a mid priced restaurant's choice of decor?

Not a single child has "come home transgendered"
DEI in schools as a concern? Diversity, equity, and inclusion? Words and values that have been pillars in schools for several decades:
Diversity - 1960s
Equity - 1990s
Inclusion - 1980s.
Remind me what their opposites are?
Reminder, these are all the people who thought they could run country and were negotiating with the Trump admin on the sly…..

Danielle Smith says that schools like the one in her constituency that flies multiple international flags inside the school will be able to get an exemption.
Want to guess what’s not in the new regulations?
An exemption process.
Or even the word “exemption”.
Ummm, this is his job. He's doing it well and respectfully. Complaining that you aren't able to film (and harass?) minors is .... problematic at best.
🚨🚨UNREAL: Last night at the Woodland High School vs El Camino High School girls’ varsity volleyball game, the principal approached me to warm me that I was not allowed to film any “minors” unless I was related to the player.
Why are they trying to hide the trans-identified boy?
Girls’ sports are for girls only.
Break the spell!!

How is it possible in a country of 350 million people they send someone this stupid to the Senate?
Canada is lost. This is what the Left does. Socialism at home is never enough.
By embracing Communist China, and now Turkey, PM Carney has turned his back on America & made clear that Canada sides with dictators, terrorists & thugs who threaten the security of the U.S. & sovereignty of our allies.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Turkey is a NATO ally of both the United States and Canada since 1952. Official Canadian statements describe the new Strategic Partnership with Türkiye as deepening cooperation between the two NATO allies on trade, energy, defence and security.
