Here’s my take. You’ve got to put this woman in the conversation as best “all around” athlete in OSU History alongside Bailey Golden, Toni Young and I’m sure more that I’m missing. She could do it all and did. And no one had the same rise from the bottom. Debate me.

Stayed in it through a couple difficult events and moments. Learned a lot over the last two days and excited for next year.

The story behind this kid is every reason why college athletics is great. Pure love for the game. Opportunity to chase dreams, and being grateful every step of the way. Special place in my heart for this type of student athlete. Just here to see how good they can become.

Different year. Same expectation for this group. Culture matters. Excuses don’t.

This is what we need more of in our sport. Just lining up and trying to beat people, doing things for the good of the team. We had athletes in events they had never done before, just trying to beat someone for a point or two. Great format, great weekend.
