Driving Veterans Futures Through Golf
We're proud to be funded by the @RNRMC to deliver a programme of confidence building golf activities for wounded Naval personnel.
This funding will help us provide mental health, wellbeing and resilience support to serving personnel, veterans and their families.
We've awarded £170,000 to seven organisations supporting the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines community. Projects will help people access specialist support, build resilience and improve wellbeing. Find out more: rnrmc.org.uk/news/rnrmc-awar…

We are proud to have been part of the Thrive Together programme over the last two years - creating and strengthening support networks for veterans throughout the South West of England. 🤝
Through Thrive Together, the #InvictusGames Foundation is helping strengthen support for veterans and their families across the South West of England.
Funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, the programme brings together 10 charitable projects under our Brighter Futures for Veterans portfolio, improving access to support and helping organisations deliver services that meet the needs of the Armed Forces community.
From physical activity and nature based support to mental health services and stronger referral pathways, the projects help veterans access the right support in their local communities.
By helping organisations collaborate and build their capacity for the future, Thrive Together is strengthening the support available to veterans long after their military service ends.

Congratulations to beneficiary Paul Bennett, our most recent winner of the OCF Championship, which was held @wishawgolfclub in the West Midlands.
Other winners included Martin Adams (category 1) and Karl Horvath (category 2).

We are absolutely devastated to hear about the recent passing of our much loved beneficiary Neil Garfoot.
'Garfey' was a regular at our events since joining in 2016 and was very popular at our captain's charity days.

We have been kindly supported by the @bluelightcardfn this summer as we continue to deliver our Golf Skills Days throughout England.🤝
Since April we have delivered 12 individual days, with an overall attendance of 136 and a further six are scheduled up until the end of October.
We recently delivered a 2-day Introductory Golf Event at @RamsdaleParkGC for beneficiaries of @Blesma - the limbless veterans charity.
Long-serving coach and this year's @ThePGA Captain, Dai Llewellyn, was able to introduce the game to a new cohort of veterans.
Thanks to #NationalLottery players we've been able to deliver Beginner Golf Skills Courses for wounded veterans via the @Sport_England movement fund.

We returned to @TitleistEurope HQ as part of an Employment Insight Day to learn about their role in the golf industry, including manufacturing and the fitting process.
Thank you to all of the staff who took the time to host us for the day.
We were thrilled to deliver our first-ever Scottish Championship @PeeblesGC, with 29 beneficiaries competing.

At the beginning of May, 10 UK based beneficiaries joined their counterparts @OCFUSA for a Warm Weather Training Week @MarriottGlfAcad and @GrandeVistaGolf.
Once again, it was an incredible week of coaching, golf, employment insight and camaraderie in the Orlando sun.

We recently delivered two Golf Skills Days supporting beneficiaries and the wider armed forces community, including this week @kingsfieldgolf.
This included sons, granddaughters, spouses, fathers-in-laws and friends - all of whom have been part of our beneficiaries recovery.
We are proud to be part of a growing national network of nature-based wellbeing programmes for the blue light community, supported by the @bluelightcardfn.
