I am so ill, it’s ridiculous. I have a coughing fit every 30 seconds, I’m in so much pain, a d I’m exhausted. I can’t concentrate on reading or scrolling. I had to have help from my mum to have a bath. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so bad in my life.

I have been ill for three weeks. THREE WEEKS! I actually went to the doctor today to see if it’s anything else. Nope, just a super bad cold. I am so over blowing my nose, my throat feeling like I’m swallowing glass, coughing so hard my chest hurts, & feeling so goddamned awful!

This is awful & so embarrassing! It’s like when David Owusu was asked for ID. It’s disrespectful & disgusting. We’re supposed to love books & want to support authors, or why are we in this job?! Booksellers, we need to do better (whatever country we’re in). 1/5

Had my first negative signing experience today lol. Went to a B&N and asked a worker if I could sign my book. He glared at me and said “I don’t know who you are.” And I said “I didn’t expect you to.” Usually booksellers are like “Oh what book is it.” So I told him the name and

But to treat them like they’re wasting your time or are an inconvenience? I’m so damn mad! I don’t care if you’re stressed and frazzled because it’s super busy right now. That’s no way to treat authors. 4/5
