Community sport facilities are needed more than ever these days - the link between physical activity and mental health should not be underestimated. What a great asset the Irvine Tennis Community has created and delivered - 4 tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts. 👌👇🏼
A brilliant evening for @IrvineTennisCom at their official opening ceremony with @JudyMurray - look out for the news story tomorrow about how the Irvine Locality Partnership helped make the tennis court revamp possible by securing £100k CIF funding 🎾#communityempowerment

Great to see the community spirit from all involved in Irvine’s regenerated public tennis courts in Thornhouse Avenue. A huge turnout at the opening of 4 hard courts and 4 pickleball courts with a small pavilion to come. Supported by @sportscotland and North Ayrshire Council.
