I think the manager's situation is terminal, but that's exactly what he got slaughtered for saying on Thursday.
I don't think there are many coaches who could do much with half a squad.
I don't think getting rid of one manager is a silver bullet. The next will be hamstrung by many of the same issues.
I don't think he's got anywhere near enough credit for 2025, nor has there been enough willingness to appreciate the context and nuance of 2026.
I don't think he's carried himself well in public forums at all, and that has directly informed the fanbase's opinion of him. Not unfairly.
I don't think this club rediscovers collective purpose until the entire structure is flushed through.
