The throttle open, desert trail racer ripping through the wasteland—dust, chrome, and pure Road Warrior chaos under a merciless sun. The heat shimmers. The engine howls. From the driver’s seat your desert trail racer launches across broken trails and open sand, tires throwing rooster tails of grit while the horizon blurs. Modified, battered, and moving like it has nothing left to lose, it feels ripped straight from the climactic chase in The Road Warrior - just pure velocity, dust, and the sense that something is always closing in behind you.

Just another day in the office as we take a unique journey through impressive machinery employing impeccable precision. Feel free to take a stab at what it’s producing…🤔 If you can’t? At least you had a chill ride trying to figure it out. 😎
An oddly satisfying adventure as these marbles move with a mind of their own all the way to the last drop.

I will be posting video of a tour of the Freewater Bayou locks in Freshwater City, LA. The actual Freshwater Bayou was east of this canal, but when the locks were placed and the channel dug to the Gulf of America in July of 1968 was when they officially opened, it was named Freshwater Bayou. They were built and still maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Just to the right of where the shrimp boat is seen in beginning of video is where the SpaceX launch pads will be.

A new DOJ filing in D.C. federal court names the subject of the search warrant on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home as “Congresswoman Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.” The document is the government’s motion for more time to respond to unsealing requests in the Oct. 12 raid case. It is not the warrant itself, but it shows how the DOJ is referring to her in these proceedings. This is the same name tied to her 2009–2017 legal marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, the relationship long dogged by questions about identity and immigration paperwork. Omar has denied the claims. No charges have been filed. The underlying warrant materials remain sealed. The investigation continues. s3.documentcloud.org/documen… * Disclaimer* The video is only wishful thinking at this time.

Rep. Ilhan Omar says she’s living “paycheck to paycheck” and calls her family’s finances “working class.” She points to raising four children and driving a 2016 Toyota Camry. America doesn’t believe a word of it. Her previous financial disclosures listed household assets of up to $30 million, largely from her husband’s businesses. Those figures were later amended down after an “accounting error,” with her office insisting she is not a millionaire. The swing was massive. The explanations have not erased the skepticism. Meanwhile, her congressional salary is $174,000 a year, paid by taxpayers. That is far above what the average American worker earns. Most families managing four kids on ordinary wages do not enjoy a six-figure government paycheck, free travel between two homes, and the other perks that come with Congress, while claiming to live like everyone else. A 2016 Camry and a rented apartment do not erase prior multimillion-dollar disclosures, questions about her husband’s companies, or the broader scrutiny surrounding her district and finances. When public officials funded by taxpayers rewrite their own wealth story after the numbers become inconvenient, people notice. Credibility is earned by consistency. Omar’s claims have not been consistent. Taxpayers are not obligated to pretend otherwise. Stop Somali Fraud Vote RED in the Midterms Vote America First 🇺🇸

Calling the city over plastic tombstones because the neighbors didn’t follow a Halloween rule you made up. Imagine explaining that complaint. She wants the whole neighborhood to keep it pastel, cute and “bougie” because her daughter doesn’t like black or darkness. Fine for her own yard. How did that become everyone else’s obligation? It’s Halloween. Ghosts, skeletons and pretend cemeteries are part of the fun. Skip a house if the decorations bother you. You get to pick your decorations. You don’t get to pick the entire block’s.

DOJ’s California noncitizen voting case was just yanked from a Trump-appointed judge and handed to a Clinton-appointed critic of the DOJ and Trump. The Justice Department sued California to stop the state from counting roughly 20,000 mail ballots from people federal authorities identified as likely noncitizens before the November 3, 2026 midterms. The suit rests on the federal ban on noncitizen voting in federal elections (18 U.S.C. § 611) and the Supremacy Clause. It asks the court to require citizenship verification before those ballots are tabulated. The case was first assigned to U.S. District Judge John W. Holcomb, a Trump appointee. California quickly filed a notice of related case, pointing to an earlier DOJ lawsuit (United States v. Weber) that sought the state’s unredacted voter rolls. That case had been dismissed in January 2026 by Judge David O. Carter, a Bill Clinton appointee. In that earlier order, Carter called the DOJ’s demands a “fishing expedition,” accused the department of exceeding its authority, and warned of a “chilling effect” on voter registration. He framed the effort as part of the Trump administration “chipping away at democracy.” The current case is different in key ways: it is an as-applied preemption claim focused on specific ballots already sent for this election, not a broad records-production demand under the Civil Rights Act or NVRA. Local rules still allowed the transfer once Carter consented. This is the pattern. Activist judges repeatedly interpose themselves between federal law and state election practices when the issue is noncitizen voting or voter-roll integrity. Courts have tossed multiple DOJ efforts to obtain basic voter data for verification. Here, a judge who has already telegraphed his view of the DOJ’s motives is now positioned to rule on whether California can count ballots from people the federal government flagged as likely ineligible. The DOJ has a short window to object to the related-case designation or seek recusal. A temporary restraining order hearing is set for October 27. Citizens who believe only citizens should vote in federal elections should watch closely, and demand that judges apply the law instead of their prior political conclusions. Noncitizen voting is illegal. States that mail ballots to people federal agencies have identified as likely noncitizens should not get to decide unilaterally that verification can wait until after the election. Why do these activist judges keep trying to halt election integrity? Because secure elections threaten the system they protect. When Trump issues common-sense orders, citizenship verification, tighter mail-in ballot rules, requiring states to clean voter rolls, Obama-appointed judges like Indira Talwani jump in with nationwide injunctions. One day after SCOTUS clears the way, they’re already finding “violations” and slowing everything down. This isn’t about the law. It’s about power. Loose rules on mail ballots, same-day registration, and zero voter ID make it easier to pad turnout in key areas and harder to catch fraud. Secure elections force accountability. Activist judges know that. So they invent procedural roadblocks, claim “premature” challenges one day and “violations” the next, and keep the status quo intact. Americans want simple things: Only citizens vote. Ballots are verified. Dead people and non-residents don’t decide elections. Yet every time those measures advance, the same judges from the same ideological pipeline step in to stop them. Election integrity isn’t “suppression.” It’s the foundation of a free country. And the fact that so many judges treat it like a threat tells you everything you need to know about their priorities. The fight is not over. The remaining nationwide block is still active, so the administration will keep pushing higher. It is very possible this specific injunction returns to the Supreme Court in the coming weeks if lower courts continue to block implementation.

Daily Devotion The Gift of Friends Faithful friendship is centered on Christ and grounded in love. It continually encourages a focus on the Lord. Hebrews 10:23-25 The writer of Hebrews knew that faith is not a solitary project. After a long and breathtaking argument about what Christ has accomplished for us, he turns to practical counsel: Hold fast to your hope because God is faithful. Then, immediately after, he gives a second charge: “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Heb. 10:24 NIV). Notice how naturally the two belong together. We hold fast together. We spur one another on (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). The Christian life was never meant to be a private endurance test. That’s a quietly liberating idea for anyone who’s tried to grow in faith on willpower alone. God does give us His Spirit, His Word, and prayer. But He also gives us people—friends, mentors, and fellow travelers who notice when we’re flagging, who speak truth with kindness, who pray when we cannot, and who draw out of us a faith more generous than we knew we had. The best friends we have in the Christian life do something rare: They love us exactly as we are and gently keep pointing us toward Christ. That’s the kind of friend worth having and worth being. Ask God to bring such people into your life—and to make you into that kind of friend to someone else.

Imagine ruining your relationship with a neighbor over something that takes ten seconds to pick up. Your dog goes on their lawn. They politely ask you to clean it up. You look them in the face and say, “No.” Now every wave from the driveway and every encounter at the mailbox comes with that memory. All because you refused to take responsibility for your own dog. Nobody should have to argue with you to keep your dog’s mess off their property. Bring a bag. Pick it up. Be a decent neighbor.

New ad from Californians for Voter ID (Yes on Prop 39) uses a parody with Sydney Sweeney to highlight that California is one of the few states that does not require photo ID to vote. In the spot, a man claims to be Sydney Sweeney at the polls. The poll worker asks for ID, but is told she is not allowed to request it. He receives a ballot anyway, while already wearing multiple “I Voted” stickers. When the real Sydney Sweeney arrives, she is arrested for attempting to vote twice. The ad is a parody, but the underlying issue is real. Prop 39 would require government-issued ID for in-person voting and the last four digits of an ID number on mail ballots. Vote Yes on Prop 39. Sydney Sweeney went nude for a sports app. The outrage is coming from the Left’s overweight, mentally unstable women and men that think they are a woman. Although they are probably jealous of her they’re more mad that her ads actually work. I personally have no problem with her nude photos. What I do have a problem with is pictures of men nursing and pretending to be pregnant. The Novig campaign is exactly what it looks like: Sweeney nude, sports gear covering what little it covers, footballs, basketballs, a pool table, and the line “Novig is just sports. So they wanted to show just sports.” She’s also an equity partner, not just a hired face. NSFW. Intentional selling sex and a beautiful woman still sell. That used to be advertising 101. Then a slice of the culture decided it was the problem. Now every time she does it, American Eagle, Dr. Squatch, her own SYRN lingerie line, this, a few people perform outrage, and the rest of the country watches the ad. One thing that is not true: she did not “start on FansOnly.” That’s her Euphoria character, Cassie, who launches an OnlyFans page on the show. Sweeney has been acting since she was a kid. A fake empty OnlyFans account with her name floats around the internet. It isn’t hers. The character and the actress keep getting mashed together because that’s the easiest way to dunk. If the complaint is that Hollywood and subscription nudes are starting to look the same, say that. Don’t rewrite her résumé. The ad is raunchy on purpose. The clutch-the-pearls crowd is small. The views are not.

A suspect can outrun an officer or disappear into the woods. Getting away from a trained police dog is a different story. These dogs can follow a scent where officers lose sight of someone, search places where a suspect could be hiding, and help officers find them without blindly walking into danger. And the work starts long before the chase. It takes training, patience, and a handler who knows how to read that dog’s behavior. They don’t understand the charges or get to choose the assignment. They trust their handler and go to work. That kind of loyalty deserves respect—and protection.

Older Oregonians shouldn’t be pushed out of work because of their age, or out of their communities because they can’t afford to stay. I’m fighting to end age discrimination in the workplace and to make it easier to build senior living communities, including modular and manufactured home communities that families can rent or own, so older Oregonians have more affordable housing options.

North Carolina Democratic Governor Josh Stein is spreading a clear falsehood about absentee ballot rejections, and Republicans need to call it out immediately. Stein posted that the State Board of Elections’ “last-minute changes to voting by mail are leading to thousands more absentee ballots being rejected this election, at a rejection rate twice as high as in 2022.” He called it “infuriating” and told voters to cast ballots in person if possible so their votes wouldn’t be “taken away.” The actual numbers from the North Carolina State Board of Elections show nothing of the sort. Preliminary data shows a spoiled ballot rate of 3.1% so far in 2026, compared with 2.6% at the same stage in 2022. That is a modest increase of half a percentage point, not a doubling. The final 2022 rejection rate finished around 2.2%. Stein’s claim appears to rest on an analysis from Common Cause North Carolina that was amplified by Democracy Docket, the left-leaning legal outfit founded by Marc Elias. Democracy Docket is actively suing to block the new rules. The Common Cause review covered only 27 of 100 counties and mixed various rejection reasons; some of those rejections were unrelated to the recent changes. The rules in question were adopted by the Republican-majority State Board of Elections and upheld this week by a federal judge. They mainly require voters to properly seal the inner envelope containing the ballot (in addition to the outer mailing envelope) and tighten rules on who can assist with or return ballots. The judge noted that the requirements are clearly stated on the materials and are not unduly burdensome. The stated purpose is basic chain-of-custody protection for mail ballots. This is the pattern: implement or enforce routine integrity measures, then generate inflated rejection numbers from partial or advocacy-sourced data, frame them as deliberate suppression, and prime the public for “rigged election” claims if close races do not break the preferred way. Early in-person voting has been strong, and the U.S. Senate race between Roy Cooper and Michael Whatley is competitive, exactly the setting where such messaging is most useful. Republicans in North Carolina and nationally should treat this as a preview, not an isolated incident. Document the official numbers, push back in real time on the “twice as high” claim, and defend straightforward envelope and handling rules as ordinary election security rather than conspiracy. Voters who follow the clear instructions will have their ballots counted; those who do not can still cure issues or vote in person. That is not suppression. It is process. North Carolina’s Senate race is not a personality contest. It is a record contest. Roy Cooper is the Democrat. Michael Whatley is the Republican. They are running to replace Thom Tillis this November. Whatley grew up in the mountains, went to UNC Charlotte and Wake Forest, and lives in Gaston County with his wife and three kids. He was chief of staff to Senator Elizabeth Dole, chaired the North Carolina GOP, then chaired the Republican National Committee in 2024 at Trump’s request. Trump endorsed him. So did the National Border Patrol Council and the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police. His pitch is blunt. Secure the border. Deport criminal illegal aliens. Honor ICE detainers. Stop treating jail as a revolving door. He says Cooper vetoed ICE-cooperation bills three times as governor and now wants a promotion to Washington. Cooper’s camp says Whatley is just a Trump rubber stamp and that Cooper backed a 2024 border bill Whatley opposed. Whatley says that bill was a bad deal dressed up as toughness, and that Cooper’s vetoes are the record that matters. That is the choice. One man spent eight years blocking sheriffs from handing criminal illegal aliens to ICE. The other is running on making that cooperation the law of the land and locking Trump’s border policy in so the next president cannot unwind it overnight. North Carolina already lived through Cooper’s version. Voters get to decide whether they want that version in the U.S. Senate.

Subway puts a hiring sign on the door: $15/hr plus tips. Cashier watches a customer pocket the change and tells her coworker, “Well, no tips today I guess.” Customer points at the sign. She confirms she makes the $15. He tells her making the sandwich is the job she already gets paid for. Tips used to reward exceptional service. Now they’re treated as mandatory even at counter service places where base pay is already $15+. Keep expecting them and businesses never have to raise wages — customers just keep covering the difference. If you’re still auto-tipping at Subway, Chipotle, or the coffee counter when workers are already making that, you’re part of why it doesn’t stop. Change my mind.
