Okay, so the CS:GO legend @flusha has an important point that a lot of players should take note of, when the switch happens from CS:GO to CS2. @flusha "CS2 is a chance for the younger players to switch and do what me and @JW1 did, when we went from 1.6 as nobodies, to CS:GO. We put in all of our time into the new game and the rest is history." If I were a player in CS:GO right now, trying to make it, or if I've been trying for a while - I would really listen to the words of @flusha. The opportunities are NOT gonna come for free, but if you recognize the opportunity and the possibilities that are coming, and if you are willing to put in the time - the chances of making it are better going forward than before. A switch is inevitable, which could change the landscape for professional CS. We also know that Valve is implementing changes to the partner system, which will allow for more teams to have better opportunities. This hopefully means that more players and teams will have the opportunity to "go pro". At the same time, it might mean that the salaries for todays top teams might decrease because the teams aren't guaranteed tournament spots and exposure in the same way they are today. It seems like this is a direction that the scene is headed for naturally anyway. Players being overpaid and organisations not being profitable. The only ones who are not gonna be happy about this are todays top players. Everyone else is gonna welcome the change, and the possibility of more players being able to play professionally, and organisations getting a better chance at profitability. It has to be said though- I can't understand why organisations has put themselves in this situation... they are to blame too. Personally, i'm really looking forward to see more, and new players coming up and getting a chance at going pro. There seems to be A LOT of talent in the scene, with players who are extremely good, but haven't been able to make it, probably due to different factors. Someone said not long ago, that Sweden does not have any talents. In Sweden we have a few examples of players who have been up there, but not been able to stay at the top, or players who are stuck one or two tiers below. Examples being players like @Jackinhocs @Lekr0 @PlesseNCS2 @b0denmaster @heapcsgo and really promising teams like @EYEBALLERS @Metizport @knasig_t @GODSENT with players like @avid_csgo @niloCSGO among others. Old-school players like @fribergCS, who wants to keep playing too could bring tons of experience to a team that has a mix of experience and up-and-coming players. I hope these players will seize the opportunity. Lets f'in go! 💪 What is your opinion? Are there any players or teams, that you are hoping will take the next step with CS2?
