~4% of the world population owns SP500 ~4.5% owns gold ~5% owns BTC THE REAL QUESTION: Where does it top out? 5% → BTC is no more than a financial asset 50% → we have the separation of money and state

HOY TOCA DESMONTAR ALGUNAS MENTIRAS: 1.

Fate schifo.

Martti Malmi, one of Bitcoin's earliest developers, just released a new version of Nostr VPN, an open-source mesh VPN that replaces the entire trust model of traditional VPN services. Traditional VPNs route all your traffic through a central server operated by a company you have to trust. They see your data. They require your email. They can log your activity. They can be subpoenaed, hacked, or shut down. Even modern mesh VPNs like Tailscale, which improved on this by sending data peer-to-peer, still require you to authenticate through a centralized coordination server using third-party accounts like Google or Microsoft. Nostr VPN eliminates the central server entirely. Your identity is a Nostr keypair, a self-generated cryptographic key pair with no registration, no email, no third-party account. The underlying transport layer is FIPS (Free Internetworking Peering System), a self-organizing encrypted mesh network where nodes authenticate each other, route traffic for each other, and establish connections without any central authority or global topology knowledge. Each node's Nostr public key (npub) serves as its network address. The architecture uses two layers of encryption: hop-by-hop encryption between peers and independent end-to-end encryption between mesh endpoints with periodic rekeying for forward secrecy. When direct connections fail due to NAT issues, the system falls back to Nostr-based multihop routing through other FIPS nodes rather than relying on company-operated relay servers. Peer discovery and NAT traversal happen through public Nostr relays using encrypted gift-wrapped messages. The new release adds native desktop apps for macOS, Linux, and Windows, an Android app, Nostr-based multihop routing for when NAT holepunching fails, and improved network management. It supports UDP, TCP, Ethernet, Tor, and Bluetooth transports simultaneously on a single mesh. This is what happens when you apply Bitcoin's design philosophy, permissionless, self-sovereign, no trusted third parties, to networking infrastructure. Built by one of the people who helped Satoshi build Bitcoin in 2009.

"It's only 2% inflation" sounds harmless until you realize it's really ~8% annual supply increase, which destroys savings, forcing everyone to use their home as a saving account, making houses too expensive for young people, destroying family and civilization.

The biggest problem with gold and silver is they are both FUNCTIONALLY USELESS when you *actually* need them. 🇩🇪 in 1923 (Weimar confiscation) - Gold demanded for reparations, refusal criminalized, jailed for up to 30+ years. 🇺🇸 in 1931 (Exec order 6102) - Turn in all gold to government or face prison time. 🇨🇳 in 1950 (People’s Bank decree) - All private gold must be surrendered to state, refusal meant “counter-revolutionary” charges, labor camps or DEATH PENALTY 🇬🇧 in 1939 (Defence Regulations) - Gold requisitioned for war effort, refusal meant imprisonment. 🇮🇳 in 1962 (Gold Control Act) - Private gold ownership banned, violations punishable by imprisonment. EVERY major global superpower has stormed private domiciles, arrested and jailed citizens when gold worked too well in hyperinflationary periods. Goldbugs fail to understand that you either need to time the market and try and buy a less SEIZABLE asset (land? lmao), enjoy consumables with your new wealth, or wait too long and inevitably have it seized. Bitcoin is the ONLY asset that cannot be claimed by violence or regulation. THAT is the killer feature. I can timelock my bitcoin using script opcodes, making it cryptographically impossible to spend until a predetermined date, even if you manage to get my keys. I can split custody across multiple global counterparties with multisig so no single government can seize it. I can obfuscate all onramps and transactions using second layers like Lightning and Liquid, making the entire chain of ownership invisible to surveillance. It is the only asset where you can store $100M of value that not only can’t be confiscated—the government doesn’t even know it EXISTS. And i know some midcurves will say “that’s criminal money laundering.” Cool. India used Bitcoin to settle trade with Russia when SWIFT was weaponized. Guess they’re criminals too. When the government wants something from you, they take it, and you become a defacto criminal. Law does not matter to Bitcoin. That makes it infinitely more valuable than shiny rocks.

Ignorant folks claim that Bitcoin isn't scarce because anyone can launch their own cryptocurrency. They fail to recognize that while anyone can copy code, no one can copy a network of users and infrastructure.
