Owning a house is every family’s dream . The government is doing every thing to ensure that’s just not a dream but a dream realized . Away from misinformation and propaganda that’s peddled there’s definitely something positive the government is doing.

We have an opportunity before us to significantly change the world for the better.   We cannot continue failing our children. We cannot continue failing their future. We have a duty to act.   It starts here, and it starts now.

All Kenyans have stood firm to #RejectUkabila. There is no place like home. 🇰🇪 ❤️

You can't fail to ADMIRE/LOVE DP RIGATHI GACHAGUA...He never claims to be something bigger than a small tribal chief...and he never aspires to be something bigger than a small tribal chief...that is what I call "realistic political contentment".

Dear Ruto:A NATION cannot hate itself without first convincing itself with LIES. The DEVIL is alive and WELL and he lives in Kenya. As the FATHER of Lies, he has convinced Kenyans that you are a LIAR. What they call Ruto LIES are just DREAMS. And the DEVIL Kills DREAMS using LIES

Drama as Man Walks out of Dowry Ceremony in Murang'a Citing Extortion and Unnecessary Fines. John paid Ksh 40,000 to cater for food, tents, chairs and a public address system. He was also made to set aside Ksh 60,000 to pay his bride price that the two families had agreed on. Having impregnated the girl, John was told to add Ksh20,000 to the bride price. He was slapped with a Ksh10,000 fine for making a detour to the wrong path and ended up into a different homestead instead of the girls'. Having gotten late a little bit, he was told to pay Ksh 5,000 to appease the elders who had tired waiting for his Arrival. Drama, however, ensued when twelve girls were paraded in a line, in front of him covered in loose lesos from head to toe and John was asked to guess who his fiancée was. John Pointed to the wrong woman, leading to yet another fine of Ksh 20,000. The decisive moment, specifically, was when elders demanded Ksh 500,000, used on the girl's school fees and childhood upkeep. Fumed with anger, a furious John excused himself to visit a nearby latrine and left. He switched off his phone and was last seen in a matatu headed to Nairobi CBD.

As you make noise on how Baba Raila Odinga will lose the AUC chairmanship bid, I'm here to remind you that there'll be no popular vote involved! So, your hate for Baba is like a fart with no impact! That being said, Raila Odinga has accompanied President William Ruto alongside the delegation from Kenya to participate in the Summit of the Forum for China-Africa Cooperation. Here, Raila Odinga will meet and engage directly with the real voters. So, in case you don’t know, the African Union Commissioners, including the Chair, are elected by the AU Executive Council comprising Member-State Foreign Ministers and appointed by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government. Campaigns are conducted in boardrooms amongst the leaders of member states. You and I will not be involved directly in these decisions since they’re led by leaders.

It has been nearly 6 weeks since Kenya deployed her gallant police officers to Haiti, to help the Haitian National Police reclaim territories under the control of a 12,000 member gang, as well as guard critical infrastructure . Kenya pledged to lead a 2500-troop mission, that will have officers drawn from Chad, Jamaica, Bahamas and a few more countries. Out of this, Kenya’s contribution is 1000 police officers, which is 40% of the entire troop number. Kenya's leadership of the mission means that we have to lead from the front. This is why our country was the first to send her officers to the battle lines in Port au Prince, a serious gamble by the President and the Interior Ministry considering how aggressive the actions of the gangs have been. They are so ruthless to a point where they forced the former Prime Minister, Ariel Henry to resign, after taking over control of the main airport and making it impossible for him to land back in the country after a foreign mission. However, our police have distinguished themselves so far. Under the command of Senior Assistant Inspector General of Police, Godfrey Otunge who is the Mission Commander, Kenyan troops have scored three main important wins. 1. They supported the Haitian National Police in launching an operation that helped reclaim the country's biggest hospital, the State University Hospital of Haiti (HUEH). 2. On 17th July, our troops yet again launched a successful operation that resulted in the recapture of the Auorite Portuaire Nationale (APN) from gangs who had controlled it for almost 5 months since March 2024. 3. The third very victory by the Kenyan officers in my opinion is that their presence is forcing the gang leaders to consider coming to the table and negotiate peace. Before the officers arrival, the gang leaders were issuing threats, warning the Kenyan troops of bad things if they dared step in Haiti. The change of heart can only be interpreted to mean that the gangs feel weight of our officers, and pressure will increase as more of our officers land in the Caribbean country. We will continue to monitor the situation in Haiti while praying that our officers succeed in their mission and return back home to their families, safe and sound.

An unpopular opinion! If Kenyans wanted Ruto to go wherever, 25th June 2024 was the day. That was the climax! The minute protestors went back home that evening, it was the end of that story and imagining that that defining moment can be recreated in the next couple of weeks is unrealistic. The hype around nane nane, tisa tisa, kumi kumi etc is just wishful thinking! The only people it’s disadvantaging are those who do businesses in town and can’t stay open on such a day out of fear. It is unfair that we continue subjecting traders to a volatile situation which will only make their financial situation worse, yet they are innocent Kenyans who are going through what everyone else is facing. At the beginning everyone was very supportive of the protests those traders included, but this can’t be done in perpetuity. It’s got to stop somewhere. A good dancer knows when to leave the stage. The appointment of cabinet secretaries this morning has marked the end of that phase, and the most we can do now is wait and see if they will work and deliver as per Kenyans expectations, and in line with the promises the administration has made. Meanwhile as we watch, it is important that we register to vote, so that in 2027 we cast our vote for that person we will each find suitable to lead the country. And if it’s about sustaining pressure and keeping the government on its toes till 2027, there is got to be another way. There are various other platforms that people can use to agitate.

It's the height of naivety for a Kenyan to wish that Raila loses the AU bid to a candidate of another country. You may not like something about a player, but if they are playing for your country or team, you ignore the personal differences and wish them well. Go Baba go!

Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was a few meters from the finish line, but got confused by the signals and stopped, thinking he had finished the race. The Spanish runner, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was happening in front of him, began shouting for the Kenyan to keep running. Motai did not know Spanish and did not understand. Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory. One reporter asked Evan, "Why did you do this?" Evan replied, "My dream is that one day we can have the kind of community life that pushes ourselves and others to win as well." "But why did you let the Kenyan win?" the reporter insisted. Evan replied, "I didn't let him win, he would win. It was his race." The reporter insisted and asked again: "But you could have won!" Evan looked at him and replied, "But what is the merit of my victory? What is the honor of this medal? What will my mother think?" Values are passed on from generation to generation. What values do we teach our children and to what extent do they inspire others to earn them? Most of us take advantage of people's weaknesses rather than helping to strengthen them.
