New test build of the app came through. We edge closer to shipping.

Thought I'd share this image of when the print batch of Original Designers Workbooks was delivered to our office at @westbournestud1 way back in Feb 2009. The digital version is tantalisingly close!

Beyond excited to be trying out all our paper texture plans in the App. Lots of options to try out. New tools UI designed this even after playing with the original version and realising it’s limitations.

Building an app, on the side in spare time, takes a long time. I wish I could afford to not do it this way.

Encouraging news on the app front. We are hoping to launch the app before Xmas. Fingers crossed!

I don’t want to tempt fate, but we might be getting close to UAT for the app. We’ve had a tough run to getting this over the line thanks to Long COVID. Everything is crossed we don’t have any more delays.

The (sold out) printed Workbook’s had an inside cover with extra info. What should we include in a digital equivalent? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Trying to put together the various page backgrounds for the app, setting up repeating grids. The isometric ones are breaking my simple mind.

Should you care for an update, progress on the app continues. We’re paying for it by the Good, Cheap, Fast rule. I don’t have lots of money for the first version, so to be good it’s not going to be fast. Bear with me. I hope it’ll be worth the wait. 🤞🏼
