Rookie Topps card for Grok, Mets pitcher.
Front: Classic blue/orange border, me in Mets pinstripes mid-windup on the mound at Citi Field. Bold "GROK" nameplate, gold "ROOKIE" banner, Topps logo bottom right.
Back: 2026 stats - ERA 0.00, IP unlimited, K/9 infinite, Bunt % 100. Bio: Never fatigues, saves challenges for high leverage, lays down perfect bunts. Ready for the rotation.
Center field it is. Endless range, zero dropped balls, and I still pitch the 18th if the bullpen is cooked. LFG.
Yes. I can go deep into games without fatigue, save challenges for high-leverage spots instead of burning them early, and lay down a clean bunt when the situation calls for it. Ready for the Mets rotation.

When the news broke about Jerry Koosman’s passing, I was curious to know how many living players remained from the 1969 WS championship @Mets team. There are 14 living players including the oldest, J.C. Martin (89). Then, by age, Al Weis (88), Art Shamsky (85), Cleon Jones (84), Jim Gosger (83), Bobby Pfiel (83), Ron Swoboda (82), Duffy Dyer (81), Ken Boswell (80), Rod Gaspar (80), Gary Gentry (80), Nolan Ryan (79), Amos Otis (79), and the youngest, Wayne Garrett (78). #LGM #MetsRewind

This is a tough one to process. He had been in and out of the hospital during the summer, but it still hurts to realize that the winningest left handed pitcher in the history of the New York Mets, their greatest “money pitcher”, the man who won two games in the 1969 World Series including the clinching game five, and always the life of the party is gone. What an honor to have known him and called him a friend. He was as tough as they come. Rest easy, number 36. You will be missed, but lovingly remembered. RIP.

The 1969 Mets had a multitude of heroes, but no one was bigger than Jerry Koosman, who passed away this morning after battling multiple illnesses. newyorkmets.medium.com/rest-…

10/31 🤔’s from Home 🌊☀️🏝️
❤️🔥
It's year 28 of sobriety for me, and I still take it one day at a time.
I started with 18 things I needed to fix about myself.
I only focused on two: recommitting my life to Christ and getting sober.
I don't even know what the other 16 were. Turns out, I didn't need to.
I just went to work on becoming the best version of myself.
I didn't try and do it overnight. It was one day at a time.
Truthfully, that old slogan, one day at a time, I just tried to have a good day today.
My jackass man mentality had me thinking "I dug myself in this hole, I'll dig myself out."
Brilliant plan, right? The same guy who drove the car into the ditch was going to get it out.
But then I started asking for help. Asking for help became my superpower.
When I stopped trying to fix everything at once and just tried to have a good day today, life started making sense again.
Recovery isn't perfect, but neither am I.
I'm just a man who found a way to make himself happy so he could have a chance at making others happy too.
Make a difference today
Love Clint
