ICYMI: I've written a whole essay expanding a stupid tweet I made into a robust theoretical framework for interpreting Transformers stories (and more)! Check it out here: tfwikicommunity.wordpress.co…
Wadapan "kindly" got me some classic Armada toys for my birthday.

I feel like I never really got social media right. If you followed me here, thank you, and I hope you'll find me again somewhere new!

We're joined by @Speed_Freak01 to discuss Transformers One! We talk about deference to Brand, Henry putting his whole pussy into it, and Key doing Really Good Bits as we try to figure out what, if anything, this film's themes actually are.

Really enjoyed this episode, and it gave me this thought that I keep coming back to
The Bay movies present a fairly consistent set of in-universe morals where Good is Good and Bad is Bad, but they're just so outwardly repugnant that they may as well not exist to the viewer

I started this year with PLANS man, but you know what they say about plans
We're looking back at The Ultimate Guide, the one true history of the Transformers (as long as you're in the mid-2000s), whose decisions are sometimes clever and often baffling. Also: ha ha, "Unicron's evil taint".

We've got something different for you this week - back in June, @SJ_Broadside and @Speed_Freak01 interviewed Josh Cooley and Lorenzo di Bonaventura at an advance screening of #TFOne on behalf of @tfwiki!

mad to think it's been over a month since the convention! I was very surprised at how much Jo and I had to say about it in the end. So much happened! And not all of it good! So if you haven't already, you can hear all about it in this week's episode...
Join us for (half) an episode all about @TFNation 2024! We discuss guests of honour being assaulted by salsa goons, sleepy Gregg Berger storytime, crank opinions about cosplay, and Snake-Eyes mania. Plus: did you know that ninjuns were deadly assassins?
