“This is what fox hunting in 2025 looks like… The law is too weak – it’s time for change.”
Appalling footage shows the Coniston Hunt dig out a fox, a terrier still clamped to it, before throwing it to hounds.

The Government committed to ending all badger culling licences by 2026 in Parliament today with the exception of one licence in Cumbria which could run until 2029 subject to scientific evaluation. This is a huge & welcome step forward but we must end all culling now or run the risk of badger slaughter starting again under a new Reform Government in 2029 @BadgerTrust @BornFreeFDN @ProtectTheWild_ @LeagueACS

Good to see Labour & Lib Dem MPs calling for an end to the cruel costly & ineffective badger cull in Parliament today & an increased focus on cattle based measures to reduce spread bovine TB in cattle & wildlife @ProtectTheWild_ @BornFreeFDN @fishvetmj
Badger crime takes many forms. Over the years we have dealt with sett blocking, land clearing, badger baiting, illegally shot badgers, badgers in snares and more.
Thank you to Badger Trust for the training to be able to deal with cruelty.
This badger was watching some of our volunteers for a while but decided not to stick around. #Brocktober

Here’s a badger reversing roles and doing a bit of human watching #Brocktober
We have a dedicated team of about 30 volunteers who receive emails and calls about badgers in road traffic collisions.
In 2025 we have had over 200 reported into us.
Photo is of a badger who was hit by a car and made it, eventually being reunited with her family.
