🇾🇪 Waves of Saudi airstrikes on homes in al-Sharya village, east of Sanaa, killed at least 27 civilians and wounded 41 on Saturday, with many still missing beneath the rubble, according to health officials cited by Al-Masirah. Most of the casualties are women and children. Graphic videos show dead and wounded children, while the Health Ministry warned that the death toll could rise, with several of the wounded in critical condition.
The strikes destroyed multiple homes, burying residents beneath the rubble. In what appeared to be a double-tap attack, Saudi jets struck again as paramedics and rescue teams arrived. Al-Masirah’s crew filmed two strikes hitting paramedics, while Al-Bukhaiti reported that another strike minutes later hit rescuers and television crews, killing and wounding several people. An Al-Masirah cameraman was among the wounded.
“Scores of civilians were killed and injured, mainly children,” district health office director Mohammed Hamid told Al-Masirah. Yemen’s Health Ministry condemned the bombardment as a war crime.
