I tried something different with the Great Sphinx. Instead of using known pharaoh’s I used the surviving features and reconstructed only the missing portions by following the existing contours of the eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks and chin. This is what came out.

On the surface: “The Sower holds the wheels at work.” Just depends on how you see things… “The Seed speaks Fire. Fire speaks the Seed.”
