The current ANZ Contenders dates is killer to many players and teams in SEA/PAC. Games start at 3-4pm on a weekday afternoon, where many players have school or work. This forces them to have to skip school or take leave from work, and will end up hurting them in the long run.

When they cancelled PAC Contenders, PR statements were released reassuring that there would still be support in the form of third party events. But they were all empty words and nothing of substance came of it. Hoping for the best in OW2, but not expecting much. Maybe one day.

A top prospect in the burgeoning Valorant scene left the game to return to the OWL. Upon his return, the OWL hyped up his return greatly and yet the region he is from, remains abandoned till this day. What a shame, what a letdown to all players former, current, and future.

The Pacific region took down the best of NA and EU, went toe to toe with the best of KR more than 2 years ago, and yet the region was killed off almost immediately after. Now with the release of OW2, a game meant to instil back the hype back into OW, the region remains abandoned.
