For me Wissa needs to spend more time focusing on getting into the box and on the end of crosses than being the self nominated cheerleader. It’s utter madness that I’ve seen more of him on the side after winning a throw in or a tackle and going nuts vs the number of times I’ve seen him busting a nut to get into the box. #NUFC
They should introduce a penalty, if a referee misses a penalty to which is then overturned by VAR (so an error) then the referee gets a % of his match fee docked. VAR has trained basics out of referees and they no longer look for things they did before VAR. So when there’s no VAR, the standard is 10x worse.
How many time has that been said and how many times has the answer been yes. Bloke gets away with murder every season.

I was talking to a former men’s D1 coach of about 20+ years the other day. Talking top 25 team every year.
He said was honestly not interested in recruiting MLS Next/ECNL kids by the time he retired.
He said those players are rarely able to step in and compete against older players as they’ve never done it before.
That’s why he was interested in international players (ones who are 18/19) because a lot had experience of playing against men.
The U.S. system doesn’t promote that.
Only 25% of our clients here at Sports Recruiting USA are internationals. But we’d estimate that the majority of them have played against adults in their 16-18 development.
Got a kid who’s wanting to play college in the next 2/3 years. Try get involved in an adult league set up. UPSL, MLS NEXT PRO (if lucky), and lots of others popping up everywhere.

So many positives to take from that game yesterday. Yes it was frustrating that we lost 2 points in the manner we did but let’s be honest we knew that it would happen, god knows where the extra time on the added time came from. Would have bitten your hand off for a draw before kick off when most of us were pre prepping our moans fully expecting to get pumped by 3 or 4. Wasn’t the case, and the performance in this case is almost more important than the point. This one was always going to hit hard, sting more than most. Bruno was the heartbeat of the club, joined in a relegation battle, dragged us up the league and into the Champions League, a captain who led us to a trophy and gave me and my little boy memories to last a lifetime. Came in as a player, left as a legend in my eyes. Gave his all week in week out, simply loved by us all.
