To mark the 75th anniversary of when a group of golfing enthusiasts met to transact the business to form the Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club, it was an honour to address the membership with a presentation reflecting back on the many chapters of the “Paraparaumu Beach Story”.

Round 6 - Paraparaumu Beach This is a true links course, with bouncy, rolling land. One of the best set of par 3s anywhere and some all-world par 4s too. It feels like could be somewhere on the Southport coastline rather than just north of Wellington NZ. A great golf course!

This 1959 aerial of @PBGC1 was modified for the @NZOpenGolf program that year with hole numbers and corridors added and the initials VP to signify suggested viewing points for spectators.
