In today’s Daily Mail,it is deeply upsetting to read yet another false story, this time from a man who, seven years later, has chosen to sell a lie to make money from my name.The company he worked for was responsible for the refurbishment of our London home; they were over 12 months late in delivering the project due to their total lack of management.I categorically deny every claim he has made. This individual is twisting events from years ago and inventing language I have never used.There was no formal complaint,no report, and no record because the truth is,it never happened. The emails being referenced were not intended to be bullying in any way;they expressed frustration over unacceptable delays and poor-quality work.What’s even more telling is that neither he nor his company ever raised a single concern or made a formal complaint at the time.Why not?Because there was nothing to complain about. Only now, seven years later, when my name is in the headlines, have they decided to jump on the bandwagon, hoping to gain attention and money from a false story.And let me be clear: I know precisely who contacted The Daily Mail with this fabricated story. I could name and shame them, but I will rise above it. I have more dignity and self-respect than those who choose to profit from deceit. What I will say to him and to anyone else considering similar actions is that our legal team has taken note of everything. The truth is that the project was mismanaged, and now someone is trying to profit from falsehoods. If they were so certain of their claims, they would stand by their name and their business publicly rather than hiding behind anonymity.More alarming is what this situation says about trust and confidentiality values that any reputable business should uphold without question. When that trust is broken years later for personal gain, it speaks volumes about their integrity, not mine.What is most alarming is the way specific political and media forces appear to operate in lockstep, recycling the same falsehoods through headlines, broadcasts, and online commentary. It is a coordinated pattern, not a coincidence designed to distort reality, shape opinion, and destroy reputations. The same narratives are repeated from one outlet to another, becoming increasingly exaggerated with each retelling until they are presented as fact. The Government spin doctors, I’m told, 600 + of them have joined up with the press in a calculated campaign to vilify, humiliate, and erase me and my family from public life.Let’s be clear: the real bullies here are thepress and the government spin machine that has spent five years attacking me daily, twisting every detail of my life into another headline. Their campaign has been relentless, cruel, and deeply personal, designed not merely to discredit me, but to break me.The press must stop this harassment. Their sustained abuse is not journalism; it is psychological warfare. Over the past five years, I have endured daily attacks, lies, distortions, and character assassinations all aimed at breaking me. The toll has been devastating. I have suffered two mental breakdowns because of this constant persecution. This is all designed to blame me for their total incompetence, resulting in 10.1 billion of waste in the PPEscandal. Neither my husband nor I have done anything wrong. To be subjected to this ongoing campaign of hatred and distortion is disgusting and inhumane.We have already seen the tragic loss of a high-profile person’s life under the weight of similar bullying by the media. I now understand, painfully, how that happens. Over-Promoted and Over-Protected by the Establishment On 20 December 2023, I posted the following: “You’ve probably never heard of him, but Sir Chris Wormald is the man directly responsible for wasting £10 billion of public money on PPE. As Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health and Social Care during COVID, he bought five years’ worth of PPE when only four months’ supply was needed. Much of it had a shelf life of just two years, meaning billions of pounds’ worth of stock expired and was destroyed. He is now Head of the Cabinet Office a man over-promoted to a level far beyond his capabilities. He should have been sacked for his performance at the DHSC. Instead, he was promoted to the top job in the civil service! He has very serious questions to answer about how such staggering waste and deception of public money were allowed to happen, but he has always been protected. He used myself and my husband as scapegoats turning me into the ‘poster Blonde Baroness’ to cover up his own sheer incompetence. His performance at the COVID Inquiry shone a light on his failings and the shocking waste of public money. At the time, I was attacked for speaking the truth. But as today’s headlines show, Keir Starmer is now reportedly on the verge of sacking Chris Wormald. The sad reality is, they’re all as bad as each other protecting one another, shifting blame, and refusing to take any responsibility or accountability for these failings. The public deserves honesty, not excuses. Already knighted what’s next for him? A place in the House of Lords?

Today’s judgment against PPE Medpro is shocking but all too predictable. It is nothing less than an Establishment win for the Government in a case that was too big for them to lose. According to the judgment, PPE Medpro won its original pleaded case, having spent 4.5 years and £4.4 million defending it. However, on the opening day of trial, the Government pivoted to an entirely new argument, one that had never been pleaded beforehand. They claimed there was a lack of original “source documentation” around sterilisation, even though seven fully accredited sterilisation plants supplied gowns to other Governments and suppliers worldwide throughout the pandemic, without an issue. This quantum leap of faith on the part of the judge gave the government an overall win.  To use a simple analogy,  if a car looks, feels, and drives like, say, a Range Rover, then unless you can show how the car is assembled by the manufacturer, it’s not a Range Rover! That’s essentially what the judgment states, which contradicts all the evidence presented in court during the month-long trial in June of this year.   I've attached the complete press release from my husband’s spokesperson for your review. For the past seven months, I have stayed silent. But the truth is, I have endured five years of pure torture, relentless press and media attacks, every single day, without responding. Enough is enough. It is time for the public to know the truth. This year alone, three documentaries have been made about me (Channel 5, BBC, and ITV). The interviews I have previously given were cut and edited to fit a predetermined narrative. Now it is time to set the record straight and share some home truths. Since December 2022, my husband Doug and PPE Medpro have worked tirelessly with the DHSC to resolve this dispute. Doug’s position has always been clear: PPE Medpro supplied sterile gowns manufactured at seven fully accredited sterilisation plants in China, the same facilities relied upon by governments and suppliers worldwide, including UK companies. Are the DHSC really suggesting that all seven of these internationally approved facilities somehow failed? It is essential to note that PPE Medpro successfully delivered 210 million masks, which were accepted and utilised within the NHS. At the time, the Department was even discussing ordering further gowns from the company, after the original gowns had been received, checked, and paid for. These are not the actions of a bad supplier; they are the actions of one that fulfilled its contracts. This case was never about gowns or money. It has always been about politics and blame-shifting, a way to cover up the Government’s disastrous £10 billion PPE write-off. Doug and I have been deliberately scapegoated and vilified in an orchestrated campaign designed to distract from catastrophic mismanagement of PPE procurement. The Government decided to make us the poster couple for the PPE scandal, a convenient distraction to take the blame off them. Meanwhile, the public can see with their own eyes images of PPE worth billions dumped in fields and warehouses across the country. That is the real scandal. It is also worth asking: why is PPE Medpro the only company being taken to court? PPE Medpro delivered products manufactured to internationally recognised standards, yet many other suppliers who ran off with deposits or provided defective goods face no action. Singling out one company in this way is not justice; it is scapegoating. What the Government and its press machine will not tell you is this: before the civil trial, the Consortium behind PPE Medpro offered the DHSC, on a no-fault basis, either to replace all 25 million gowns or to provide a cash settlement of £23 million. Every single offer was rejected. Instead, the DHSC chose to spend a staggering £5 millionof taxpayers’ money pursuing litigation against a company they knew had no funds. That is truly shocking. I have attached yesterday’s PPE Medpro press statement, which sets out in detail the offers made to the Government to settle this case. It makes compelling reading.

My letter responding to @AnnalieseDodds We have been clear that the @Conservatives Party is and must always be a place where anyone who supports our values is welcomed and where issues arise we investigate and take action - in this recent case within 24 hours. Contrast that with @UKLabour’s delayed reaction to blatant racist and antisemitic comments made by @CllrAzharAli, in what was clearly a serious lapse in judgement by Sir @Keir_Starmer and the Labour leadership, where serious questions STILL remain unanswered. We now see a number of former Labour MPs sitting as independents after various comments and stances taken. And in recent weeks two @UKLabour parliamentary candidates have been disowned by Labour for alleged racist behaviour, perhaps Labour should actually deal with the issues it faces before desperately attempting to deflect by playing politics on such a serious matter.

Every week I visit different Conservative Associations to speak to members and supporters about my political journey. I am doing my level best to raise money and raise spirits to make sure Labour do not get into Downing Street. Some folk may say I am not a typical Tory but I say my party gave me a home when I was politically homeless and protected me from day 1. On the 6th October 2023 I shared a link on X to a Mail Online article entitled ‘Militant union leader at the heart of doctors strikes is a Labour activist who boasted of charging the NHS for a strike cover shift. I accept that my words were misleading as the subject in question Dr Tom Dolphin was not on strike on the date of the shift in question but was simply covering a shift as a consultant for junior doctors who were on strike on 11th August 2023. I would like to offer my sincerest apologies to Dr Dolphin for any distress upset caused. I will also like to add that I understand that Dr Dolphin actually donated his pay for the covered shift which I believe was £1870 to the BMA strike fund and whilst I do not agree with the strikes I want to go on the record to say that I think it is a very unselfish act on the part of Dr Dolphin to put his money into something he strongly believes in. I will make the same contribution to compensate the upset I may have caused Dr Dolphin. Please Repost.
