We were also fortunate to meet Oleg Panasenko from @CFTUU and, the free trade union medical workers of Ukraine, who alongside organising health care facilities in Kyiv are at the forefront of fighting against the draconian Labour code, unfortunately sometimes in the face of the establishment unions and @ilo. Here he is (on the right) delivering a message of solidarity to the British trade unionists, including many @pcs_union members who donated a significant amount of medical aid previously.

The situation in Ukraine is desperate.
1. The military situation is not getting better
2. The Ukrainians are being purposefully ignored by Trump and Putin as they want an imperialist carve-up of the country.
3. The rest of the world have lost interest and the useful idiots on the left in the west are rubbing their hands with glee.
Regardless the Ukrainians fight on, but they need our help. Join USC, fight like hell in your union branches and political groups for to support Ukraine. Reach out if you'd like help practically organising theses things.
Remember, these people defeated the 2nd largest army in the world at the gates of Kyiv.
