Growing up, my younger siblings were very passionate about football.
One was a Real Madrid fan, while the other supported Chelsea. Trust me, the banter, arguments and football rivalry were something else. 😂
Up until this very moment my siblings are still Chelsea and Madrid fans😏
Their level of Patriotism and loyalty to their clubs needs to be studied.
As life happened, other things took priority, and I gradually stopped following football as closely as I used to.
But one thing remained: I never stopped rooting for Harry Kane, even when he moved from Tottenham to Bayern Munich.
And look at him today! 👌
I also remember the 2019 Carabao Cup final when Chelsea lost to Manchester City on penalties. My Chelsea-supporting brother was so heartbroken, everyone had to console him while the other one couldn't stop laughing. Imagine the drama in that house! 😂
The moment they discovered that Harry Kane was being trophless that season they wouldn't let me hear the last of it.
In fact, whenever anyone asked me, "Which football club do you support?"
My siblings were so happy that I was finally developing an interest in football. Little did I know that I was signing up for a different kind of experience. 😂
Sometimes, I would even give them the television to watch their matches so I could enjoy my own favourite programmes...
Then, something happened. I became a Tottenham Hotspur fan, all because of Harry Kane.
