Let’s build the United States of Europe! 🇪🇺
In Reims, I came to wake up this European dream again.
The grammar of geopolitics has changed. We now live in a world of continent-powers. Russia is attacking our security, China our economy, and the United States is attacking our values. And alongside these rivals stands a threat with neither capital nor flag: climate change.
Facing them, Europe is fragmented. Splintered. Divided. It is as if we imposed a 45% tariff on our own goods and 110% on our own services. We tax ourselves far more than the United States has ever threatened to.
And on the decisions that matter most, unanimity allows a single government to hold all the others back. Look at Ukraine: Europe's support cannot depend on whether Viktor Orbán loses an election. That is European vetocracy.
Yes, the European Union has achieved outstanding accomplishments.
We love Europe. And it is precisely because we love it, because we defend it, that we can look at it honestly: today's European Union has reached its limits.
And so, there are only two possible choices: the fall of the EU, becoming the 51st American state or the 24th Chinese province; or a new dream, a dream within reach: the United States of Europe.
Let’s build the United States of Europe.
What I am proposing is not the creation of a single country. It is merging our economies and our environmental futures into one. It is economic, technological, and environmental federalism among the countries that choose to join, a core group, to begin with.
With the European Union, we created a single market. With the euro, we created a single currency. What I am proposing to you is a single economy.
Together, with the United States of Europe, we will set out to conquer the economic, technological and ecological frontiers on which the prosperity of the 21st century will be built.
We will set out to conquer artificial intelligence, space, decarbonised energy and tomorrow's defence. We will invent the first vaccine against cancer.
For the French, for the Europeans, that means wages that finally catch up with American wages, and energy prices that are low and stable. And it means our freedom is no longer up for negotiation.
Because power is not an abstraction. Power is prosperity.
As President, my first mission will be to bring together a core group of European countries and convince them that the United States of Europe is the only way forward. The United States of Europe can be built in a matter of years.
This Europe will be democratic. No more summits behind closed doors. We will need someone actually in charge, a president directly elected by voters across Europe, in the first truly pan-European election. A president with real power to act in every area we have decided to share.
And let us be clear: our armed forces, our diplomacy, our courts will remain national. Our nuclear deterrent will remain French. France will remain France, with its own voice, its own history and its own freedom.
I am running in this election to put forward the project of a generation, of a century. A project no other candidate will dare to propose.
Because that is the question: would we rather become the 51st American state or the 24th Chinese province? Or do we want to be the driving force of the United States of Europe?
Now it is our turn to decide.
The time for fear is over.
"A day will come," said Victor Hugo.
For the United States of Europe, that day is here. Let's build it!
Power still writes history.
Yesterday’s decisive US-Israeli operation laid bare a fundamental truth of geopolitics: strategy and force shape outcomes. While Washington and Jerusalem acted, Europe offered rhetoric and caution.
The EU may be an economic colossus, but when history is made, it still watches from the sidelines.
World Uncertainty Index just hit a record 105,000.
Yes, uncertainty is cyclical. But peaks like this signal something deeper: a transition in the world order.
Europe must think and act strategically; energy, defence, capital markets, cohesion.
Moments like this test and reset systems. 🇪🇺
PEF's Fundamental Pillars continue this year at full speed!
Europe cannot wait, it needs a change URGENT!
What the people want is clear!
@EU_Made_Simple poll shows that Italians from all parts of the isle agree that a strong, unified, European body is the way forward!
Great news for European capital markets!
Today at Davos, President Ursula von der Leyen announced EU. Inc. A single European company structure with one set of rules across the EU. Online incorporation in just **48 hours**, no more cross-border bureaucracy.
This is exactly what we've long pushed for to create a true single market for startups, innovation, and financing.
We hope the EU implements it efficiently and with founders in mind.
German Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, says that the shut down of Germany's nuclear power plants was a huge mistake, after 3 years since the closure of the last 3 nuclear power plants.
No way. Really? It was a huge mistake to shut down the 3rd largest energy production sector of the country which didn't make you be dependent on foreign resources? Didn't see that one coming at all 🤐
The EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) takes full effect this year and it represents yet another nail in the coffin.
In theory, CBAM is a climate policy intended to level the playing field by taxing imports based on their carbon footprint. The target is countries outside the EU whose environmental measures are less stringent. The scope covers essential goods, such as steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers, electricity, and hydrogen.
The European Commission claims this will drive a global shift toward cleaner industrial production. Yet once again, Brussels seems unwilling to acknowledge the domestic fallout.
These imports are fundamental building materials. Making them more expensive inevitably drives up construction costs, pushing an already fragile housing market into deeper crisis. Europe is struggling with unaffordable housing and inadequate investment, and CBAM risks worsening rents and house prices just when relief is needed most.
Bureaucracy at its finest!
Europeans live and make history every day.
One of the great beauties of true European diversity is the wealth of language families that have grown alongside peoples and nations for centuries, and are still spoken today.
Whether your language traces its roots to Latin, Germanic, Slavic, or another tradition, be proud to speak it. Europe has carried its linguistic heritage through time, and it is our duty as European citizens to preserve it.
In 1989, millions of Europeans were freed from a totalitarian regime that split the continent in half, separated families, friends and lovers, and threatened its existence with nuclear armageddon since 1946.
Let's learn from history and help our continent never be divided again! We are stronger, more prosperous and happier united as people, nations and identity!
Do it for Europe! ❤️🩹

If you claim to support human rights yet can’t bring yourself to show solidarity with those fighting for their liberty in Iran, you’ve revealed yourself. You don’t give a damn about people being oppressed and brutalised so long as it’s being done by the enemies of your enemies.
The courage of the Iranian people is reshaping history.
When citizens stand unarmed against a regime built on fear, the free world must not remain silent.
Liberty is not Western, it is human. Europe stands with those fighting for a freer Iran.
Nicolás Maduro oversaw a harsh and authoritarian regime that inflicted immense suffering on the people of Venezuela. The collapse of his rule brings renewed hope for the nation.
This is not the moment to debate legality or ethics: the European Union has already declared Maduro an illegitimate president following the latest sham election in Venezuela.
Real food is fundamental for Europe’s strength. If we want a prosperous, healthy, competitive future, it starts with protecting what’s authentic and natural.

Agenda 2030 took a huge blow in December, as the French insect farm and insect based food company, Ÿnsect, goes bankrupt after 14 years of activity!
But the outrageous part is yet to come. They had a whopping 600 million dollars in investment funding!
These funds could have made a better job at developing infrastructure, making more housing plans, family support for Europeans and making life as a whole more affordable for citizens.
