Republican BS hypocrisy:
1. Guns are safe! The real problems are bad people/mentally ill people.
2. Guns are not allowed at Repub rallies.
Why? Is it because guns aren’t safe, or rally attendees are bad/mentally ill? All the above?
The hypocrisy is so blatant & simplistic.
You can easily see why it is difficult to get a good candidate in some of these deep red states. They will vote for idiots like Tuberville, Graham, Hyde-Smith, Blackburn no matter what. The voters don't care how stupid their Senators are. They just care that they are Republicans.
I'd love to hear both journalists AND politicians use the word "lie" FAR more than they do. Call out LIES. They aren't "misstatements" or "accidents" or "unfortunate word choices." These f*ckers, on both sides, LIE all the time - intentionally. Tap dancing around it is a problem

I'd like to see them go after Sato, but his deal won't be settled before the lockout. Not sure if HE can negotiate during the lockout but I assume he can b/c he is not part of the MLBPA...yet. Sato at 2B or 3B. Then, upgrade the other position w/ someone like Pena via trade.

A blockbuster House ethics complaint filed alleges Lauren Boebert had sex with multiple staffers and issued six-figure payouts in hush money with taxpayer dollars.
According to the complaint, Boebert is accused of carrying out sexual relationships with two former Chiefs of Staff and her District Director between 2021 and now.
When reached for comment, the former spouse of one of the staffers Boebert was involved with stated “I assumed this would eventually surface, I’ll have no further comment on this topic.”
Boebert is accused of mishandling federal taxpayer money, misusing campaign funds, and "witness tampering" regarding a $200k payout for one former staffer who threatened an ethics complaint.

One of my fave things about seeing politicians get mercilessly booed and mocked in public settings is that you KNOW they hear it, despite how hard they try to act like they don't. And, later on, it crushes their pathetic little souls.
I don't expect it to happen, but Netanyahu potentially losing power tomorrow, followed by the Republicans inevitably getting their asses kicked on 3 November is so damn intoxicating.
