Imagine rugging all the best DAOs in the Polkadot ecosystem, and then bullposting about that same ecosystem.
There was a time when all I wanted to see come out of the @Polkadot ecosystem was an aggressive focus on onboarding degens.
After seeing what’s in store when the pendulum swings all the way to that side through @solana, I realize I was wrong.
Fundamentals matter, not just regarding what you build, but what you inspire. @gavofyork always strikes a consistent tone when he explains the bigger picture & global significance of Web3. He’s always been very conscious of the impact he has, and I believe this is how he has fostered such a focused ecosystem.
Things change fast, and I realize now how fleeting the spotlight may be & how futile it is to chase it. Fundamentals are key, but it’s conviction which really pays off. The way I see it, the world is still in FAFO mode, but when it’s ready to get serious, Polkadot will be there ready for it.

Can proof of Polkadot citizenship as a robust and context specific marker of individuality solve the wicked problem of Sybil resistance in Web3?
