Noted. The Ellora rock-cut Kailasanatha is also called Kannadeswara. It comes from Krishnesvara after Rashtrakuta king Krishna I; "Kanna" is the common Kannada/Prakrit form of Krishna. Strong historical tie for Kannadigas through the dynasty that carved this masterpiece.
