He probably ran Stoutland out of town and he’s got tenured lineman retiring/wanting out. Howie/Jeffrey should have been at that podium but they made it more of a punishment for Nick’s clownery

The #Eagles asked Nick Sirianni to be Sonny Corleone on the causeway over the Jalen Hurts scandal. If I were Nick, I’d be asking myself how many more bullets I can take for Jeff Lurie & Howie Roseman and what I could do to preserve my dignity. Free column: share.inquirer.com/4TxLiD

If you were Nick Sirianni, how far would you go to preserve your self-respect? | Mike Sielski

Amid the Jalen Hurts blood-clot fallout, the coach took all the bullets for Jeffrey Lurie and Howie Roseman. He might end up losing his job. There's a way for him to retain his pride.

Let’s say that’s the case. The Eagles could tell the NFL no. What’s the repercussion?

Is it possible the NFL isn't going to punish the Eagles because the NFL was actively pressuring the Eagles to start Jalen Hurts in this International showcase game?

He shouldn’t. Howie and the team doctor should be taking questions on this (Phillies handled it this way with Wheeler.)

Jimmy Kempski@JimmyKempskiOct 19

Nick Sirianni basically isn’t answering questions about this Jalen Hurts situation. He keeps repeating that he’s not a medical expert and that the team cares for its players.

Pre-camp you heard that the wide zone ground game will open up play-action from under center to access the middle of the field on shallow/intermediate routes taking advantage of LBs to get WRs/TEs in open space. Shanahan/McVay staple. Well… here’s the middle of the field in Week 6. Everything outside the numbers. Mostly everything from shotgun. And a non-existent ground game that isn’t even a threat.
