Two outstanding performances. Two future legal practitioners taking the next step in their journey. The debate session at the Law for Humanity Summit 2026 brought together brilliant young minds to challenge ideas, defend positions and demonstrate the power of critical thinking. At the end of the competition, John Kolade from the University of Ibadan emerged as the first-place winner, while Nnamani Manna from the University of Abuja secured second place. Beyond the recognition and awards, both finalists received a significant investment in their future: sponsorship covering their Nigerian Law School fees. From the debate floor to the presentation of awards and dummy cheques, this was more than a competition. It was a celebration of young people with the potential to shape the future of law and justice in Nigeria. #lawforhumanitysummit2026 #ppdc #lawstudents #futureoflaw #justiceandtechnology

The panel session brought together Mojirayo Ogunlana, Prof. Yemi Akinseye, SAN, and Ogechukwu Nona Ibenegwu for an engaging exchange of ideas, insights and perspectives on the issues at the heart of the conversation. From challenging existing approaches to exploring practical ways forward, the discussion reinforced the importance of bringing diverse voices to the table when shaping the future of justice. #ppdc #lawforhumanitysummit2026 #accesstojustice #justiceandtechnology

The future of justice is being shaped by the voices willing to question, challenge, and defend ideas. ⚖️ The debate finalists brought their arguments, legal knowledge, and critical thinking to the table, engaging with important questions about law, justice, and the role of emerging technology. Beyond the competition, the session offered a platform for young legal minds to demonstrate their ability to analyse complex issues, defend their positions, and engage in meaningful discourse. We celebrate every finalist who stepped up to the challenge and contributed to making this a memorable part of the Law for Humanity Summit 2026. Because the future of law needs not just practitioners, but thinkers, innovators, and voices ready to shape what comes next. #lawforhumanitysummit2026 #ppdc #lawstudents #legaldebate #futureoflaw #justiceandtechnology
